As Bones and MPJ get more experience and learn the nuances of the NBA game, this team will go to a whole other level. MPJ has to stay healthy, Bones has to learn how to run the offense for the 2nd unit, and both need to improve on defense. This team definitely is a threat not only to be the #1 seed out of the West but also to win the WCF and advance to their first NBA Finals.

Nikola just needs those guys from the first five to stay healthy. Maybe next year Denver should by two solid defenders. I think they whould have a legal chance for the ring. This year, early playoff exit. First serious opponent and they are out. There is no ring without solid defence.

No defence though, they need a better coach.
Good fundamentals and passing are still the hardest to beat. The nuggets remind me of the 86 celtics. They made other teams look slow no matter how fast they were.

The 3 man game between Jokic,AG and Jamal is brutal !!. You have to cover Jamal cutting in, then AG lob route, then Jamal handoff who can be a 3PT is you go under the screen, if you go over the scree Jamal drive in.
If the defender guarding AG commit is a pocket pass to AG on the Dunker Spot. If the Big Man hedge Jokic is free. If neither of the bigs commit Jamal got a wide open lay up.
That play is literally unstoppable because if one of the corner commit to helping Jamal can kick out to the free corner 3PT.
The 2-Man sure is important,but what makes this set so strong and almost unguardable is AG. This is not longer a 2-Man game is a 3-man game.
One really underrarted play i don't remember the name right now, but is a 4Joker play. Joker receive on top of the 3PT and receive a Pick from one of the guards. Jamal or KCP even MPJ and they then Pop out after setting it for a free 3PT. Both players commit to Joker because well can score at any level. Quiete simple and yet Jokic make that play impossible to guard.
Thanks to the addition of KCP and MPJ back after injury is how they added a bunch of "Off Screen plays" for quick,easy mid ranges. MPJ or KCP on the low block corner. AG or Joker or pretty much anyone set a screen. They come out of it and they get a easy Elbow/Free throw like shot.
