I’m curious as to what everyone thinks about this move. He’s been seeing less & less playtime of late.
Heās gotta work on his game, he has awful timing on blocking/contesting shots, gets up in the air too quickly, and really canāt do anything beyond dunking. Not surprised. Heās got potential but he needs to add several things to his game.
It’s a good move. He’s definitely not nba ready so might as well work on that in the g league.
This move only hurts the Pacers if/when Myles Turner gets in foul trouble early. But honestly, Goga has earned some of those minutes behind Jalen Smith anyways. This is a good move for both the team and his development. Good luck, IJax, work on that game.
Not surprised about this. Rick has been committed to the all small ball starters and bench with Myles being the starting 5 and Stix being the backup 5; and it’s working. Makes sense to get IJax some run down in the G so that way if it’s ever time to go back to a “traditional” 2 big lineup/rotation, he’s more game-ready than if he just keeps sitting.
This will be great for him. The lineup now leaves him no time on the court to develop. The team is thriving with the new lineup of Jalen Smith backing up Turner at the 5.
