Also in the podcast, Doogie says that whilst Glen Taylor is in charge, Chris Finch is likely safe as he doesnt want to pay severance
Doogie also hints that Dlo may not actually have an illness at all. And that it is a result of the players meeting. (he has left the team for a while is what i assume he’s getting at)
It is Doogie’s belief that the players have no issue with Finch, but that there is significant friction between players
Dlo’s camp have pushed for a contract extension with Connelly. TC hasnt held talks and likely wont
Lore and Rodriguez have added 3 investors into their ownership group including George Hicks of Cargill and Värde Partners

Looked like a TEAM last night. How often have we been able to say that this year?
Outside-Geologist-17
Honestly, we looked good last night without DLO. Not saying he won’t be missed, but even if we get an old Kyle Lowry for him maybe it’s worth it just for the veteran leadership.
Lowry/Little Mac/Point Ant might be enough to get by. Just seems very likely DLO is gonna walk after this season if we don’t trade him

the whole org made some crazy assumptions about the trade looking back on it:
-Rudy was a seamless fit
-this group could survive without a clear culture setter
-one guy could fix our rebounding issue

Finger pointing must be Dookies saying of the season

Was this before or after the players only meeting?
SnarfSniffsStardust
I mean our main issues are turnovers, rebounding, and effort and I don’t think any of those are strengths of Dlos

I want dlo gone too but I kinda feel for the guy

Interesting thing that OP didn’t mention was that doogie speculated about Kat’s rehab treatment. Didn’t say much but says he has some questions about what’s going on

I’ve always been a bit of a D-Lo hater but right when you’re about to lose hope on him he starts playing just well enough to save his ass then returns to haphazardly hucking it up from 3 and stupid off balance contested midrange. If ANT is done with D-Lo I’d get him out of there as soon as you can.

This sub HATES Doogie… until he drops some breadcrumbs that reinforces its confirmation bias.
Able-Bodied-Virgin
I was skeptical at first, but I’m starting to buy into this narrative.
– D’Lo unfollows Wolves – D’Lo is a late scratch – Naz’s ominous quote about everyone knowing what the problem is, but they’re keeping it in house – Kyle Anderson sternly saying something along the lines of “this is how it should be from this point forward” when talking about Ant being the primary ball handler – The “this group of guys” quote in the absence of D’Lo – This report

Keep Ant happy…that’s all that fucking matters. Dlo is not good. Adios buddy
