Luka Doncic was nothing short of extraordinary throughout the month of December, averaging 35.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 9.3 assists per game. He scored 50+ points three times in the final five games of the month, including recording the league’s first-ever 60-point, 20-rebound, 10-assist triple-double in an overtime comeback win against the New York Knicks. It was the highest scoring average in a month in Mavericks franchise history. This is his third career Western Conference Player of the Month honor, joined by November 2019 and February 2022.
