I’m not really sure what the point was, they don’t switch the off ball screen because the screen didn’t actually do anything, switch Pascal and Fred which was fine, then OG didn’t realize he needed to switch which was the only actual mistake here.
Og was anticipating the handoff back to hield for the three…he was thinking he might have to jump up. Hield cut under instead of over effectively creating a brush screen. Caught OG flat footed.
Our defensive strength is supposed to be our versatility. To me, OG should be seeing this play a mile away, and should be yelling for the switch. I would live with van vleet on Nesmith all day long.
Easy switch imo.
