Maybe Ressler gets word that a bunch of fans are “becoming” Kings fans. If there’s one thing an owner won’t want it’s less fans going to games and buying merch. Maybe he’ll realize that he’s not doing the team justice by selling picks, signing minimum contracts, trading young stars.
Maybe they’ll see that we’re not cool with the way the FO handled Schlenk, or that the owners son is now so in control of our team. Or that our entire coaching staff is incompetent.
If the people who get pissed about hearing Hawks fans “become” Kings fans can’t realize that they’re doing it because it’s their way of coping with how much they love the Hawks then I’m sorry.
