Sixers TRADING Furkan Korkmaz? Latest 76ers Trade Rumors On Matisse Thybulle | Isaiah Joe REGRET?

Sixers trade rumors take a look at the end of 76ers head coach Doc Rivers’ bench and who could be on the way out. Yahoo!’s Jake Fischer on the latest Furkan Korkmaz trade rumors:
“On a more day-to-day level of things we actually think will happen… I think they’ll be looking more on the margins of things….Furkan Korkmaz, hardly playing right now for this team, or inconsistent in his usage off the bench, on the hook for another $5.3M next year, definitely been a name I’ve heard rival teams speculate as someone to be looked to move. If there is a way to trim it, get a $4 million player back or so, for Furkan, that was something that a cap-leaning person suggested to me.”

Bleacher Report on Matisse Thybulle:
“Once considered one of the Philadelphia 76ers better young players and trade assets, Matisse Thybulle is barely hanging on to a rotation spot in 2022-23. The arrival of De’Anthony Melton, who provides similar defensive value while also being able to shoot, has probably made Thybulle expendable (at least to the Sixers). Some other team in need of perimeter defense might be willing to take a flier on him, though. He’s still just 25 years old and can wreak havoc on at least three positions (four, if a team plays small). If he’s surrounded by enough shooting and playmaking, there might still be a positive-impact player there. And there’s still plenty of time for him to become an average shooter, too.”

Sixers head coach Doc Rivers on Isaiah Joe:
“We still talk all the time. I text back and forth a lot with him. I’m very happy with him and he’s gotten a lot more playing time. One of the things, and he’ll tell you, I was brutally honest with him in a good way about don’t choose anywhere that you can’t play. You have to go somewhere where you can play now. You deserve to play. You were caught in numbers on our team with all these guys in front of you. I’m so happy for him. It’s still up and down and stuff like that. I text him a couple times when he didn’t do what he should be doing.”

  1. Might have something to do with how well melton and shake are playing. Just ain’t room for furkan.

  2. I think sixers have to include both Thybulle & Korkmaz & 2nd round pick to get a good reserve Wing.
