You know what the definition of mid-ass team is? We lose to bum teams (tanking Pistons, Spurs at home, or Bron and AD-less Lakers) and sometimes pull it off against elite teams. It just means we’re inconsistent as fuck. This team looked hungover from partying too much in LA last night in the first half. And in the clutch we couldn’t get ONE defensive stop and made Schroeder look like prime MJ.

Get used to this inconsisency boys. We might feel good about ourselves after a cute 2-3 game winning streak, only to go on another losing streak and stay around .500. I swear this season just reminds me too much of 20-21 after ‘run it back’

    I’ll say it again.

Trash guard rotation, no forward depth, plus constant switching on defense. Our defense relies on the other team being trash at passing. High turnover forced games are the only way we’re winning.

  3. BossKingGodd

We gotta take it on the chin fellas On to the next

  4. surgeyou123

Bad L but I’m not going to overreact.

Just playing down to your competition and half assing it and this happens.

  5. ReyFanboy9001

We really had Schroeder getting MVP chants😭😭

  6. readndrun

Watching this game kind of felt like a waste of time tbh.

    Death by Schroder. Smfh 🤦‍♂️

  7. We just got our shit pushed in by Dennis Schröder and lost to a LeBron/AD-less Lakers team… Bruh…

Not to mention ~~Kobe~~ Thomas Bryant feasting in the 4th because we insist on switching everything and Bam’s our only playable big

On the bright side, speaking of Bam, second consecutive 30+ point 13 rebound game.

  8. Moh_Shuvuu

Predictable once LeBron was announced to be out. Rough game from Herro as well.

  9. Aggravating_Plant_39

I put this mostly on Spo for allowing Bryant to just roast Herro and Lowry the entire game!

  10. Esjay954

Get jimmy and bam some help!

They can’t win with these cats

  11. garret126

Always give the game winning shot to herro pls

  12. DirksSexyBratwurst

Boy I sure hope I don’t have to watch Lowry and Herro guard a center next game 🤡

  13. Every time they look like the team is turning things around. They lose a bad game. Every time. It keeps happening over and over again. A healthy team (for the most part) and they can’t beat the Lakers without LBJ and AD.

I don’t know what to say, I want to believe, I do. But they keep doing this. 5 seed looks like their max potential. Likely the 6th.

Look at that upcoming schedule. No bueno… They will be under .500 again. This has been such a disappointing year. This and the Dolphins, I am over watching sports right now.

The role players really ain’t it. Dipo threw the game away instead of working proper plays. If you noticed, jimmy and bam should’ve been controlling the ball the whole time. Even if Jimmy misses, it often brings bam’s defender to him so Bam can get a put back or a hand-off dunk. That should’ve been the play down the floor every time….

  15. Gavster1221

Everyone but Bam Jimmy. i hate you tonight. Embarassing loss.

Hope it locks in the necessity for a move in Pats mind.

r/heat game thread posters understand how a game of basketball works challenge [IMPOSSIBLE] [RIDICULOUS ODDS] [DON’T EVEN BOTHER ASKING]

  17. SeikalysTurnTables

S/O to the fans who get a hard dick whenever we win 3 in a row and think it means we’ve righted the ship. We haven’t righted shit. Simply a mediocre team and will continue to be unless moves are made.

I posted this a month ago:

“We are the Kings of playing to the level of our opponent.

Beat the Celtics Lose to the Grizz without Morant, JJJ, Bane. Lol”

In 82 game seasons you’re destined for high and low moments. We like putting them together in the same week it seems. Nothing more annoying than those tired looking, slow motion train crash losses.

They make you want a written apology from the team but it’s just life.

  20. Bullseyefred

I love spo, but you have to challenge a 3 point foul where the shooter obviously kicks out his leg. You cant give up 3 free throws with 3 minutes to go in a close game. Totally killed any momentum and gave the Lakers a big cushion.

Tyler also has to play better.

  21. gamesrgreat

Lost to Washedbrook and Schroder Jesus fucking Christ. Embarrassing

  22. Blames on three people today.
    1. Spo. This man does not know how to play any defense that isnt switching. It clearly wasnt working and yet his stubborn ass didnt change it until last two minutes where schroder was already cooking.
    2. Herro. This man continues to struggle against defenders like schroder and other pesky guards. Probably bc he is not that athletic or tall. He was also getting blown by on defense by westbrook. However, he wasnt even the worse defender of the game somehow💀
    3. Dipo. This man played so ass today. Its like he took westbrooks IQ and implanted it into his own head for whatever reason. He kept letting schroder blow by him and even fouled him on a three point shot. I dont mind his shot selections it was in the flow of the offense, however, his handle is still sloppy which is worrying. Terrible night for him.

I love Bam and Jimmy though.

I have already given up on expecting things from lowry tbh but he could be up here.

  23. manokies

    Take a shot every time:
    – Strus misses a 3
    – Strus defends the opposing team’s center
    – Dedmon does some dumb shit on the floor
    – Herro gets locked by Schroder in a possession

  24. bazookatooth59

Does anyone have a logical reason as to Why did spo even played dedmon ?

  25. MauveAlbert

The last two years, if they play a team that is missing their best players and is barely fielding an NBA worthy roster, the Heat are going to drop that game. Every time.

People on Twitter were calling this a scheduled loss and it was. It doesn’t matter how many times this happens. The Heat are not going to take their opponent seriously and will prob find themselves in a play in series as a result. There’s a lack of professionalism here.

  26. LemonCanddy

We could have had Kyrie for bum ass Lowry man smh

  27. carbine23

I forgive Tyler for being bad today because his mind is in a different place, losing dunc also sucked for us… ugh stupid ass loss still

  28. Away-Ad-990

I love him but it was probably Herro’s lowest moment for the season. Crap output and he was the one they were targeting down the stretch. He’s nearly an “every night” guy but not quite yet.
