Rockets content you love to see it
He definitely had to after the season it seeing any improvement at all for 3 straight seasons
Man I love Eric gordon and want him on the rockets but we need to do him a solid and get him on a real team while he still has some game left in him
The Rockets and Texans have the same issue, the need coaching that can develop young talent. Both HCs say the same thing in their pressers.
He a nice guy but he gots to go
New coach for rockets and Texans 2023
I still don’t understand why we don’t move Gordon too tha bench. We know what he does there! Score and our bench is horrible when it comes to consistency scoring
Not only that, why not get kj in there since it seems like he is a trade piece especially with Tate milking the ankle injury
We traded Wood, our best player to the Mavs and he made us pay for it last night. He had 21 points, and 5 blocks. If you are wanting to be better this year than last year you don't trade your best player for a guy that played 8 mins last game.
I live in reality and won’t shed a tear if they can a coach who believes iso ball is the way to go and eric Gordon should be starting at SF in the year 2022. I live in reality and don’t believe “it’s a FO decision “ strictly. This same dude played Theis for what? So we can trade him. Cool for what? We don’t run sets to get guys open shots. The rotations are almost as if you’re trying to lose because this team isn’t nearly as bad as their record says. We have enough young players and we’re not going to be out of range to get a high at this point anyways. Time for the build part of the rebuild. Cause it’s been alot of Re and you can finish the rest of the word.
Rockets need to tank this year then fire coach after season. See:Texans.
This has to be intentional tanking. If you believe in analytics and maximizing wins you can easily see Rockets should run their offense through Sengun.
Stephen Silas should be undoubtedly fired. Those who defend him will mention that he signed up with a James Harden – Russell Westbrook roster that was quickly disbanded and that he has had to coach these three years in a complete overhaul/rebuild. All fair.
However, there has been virtually no improvement nearly three years later with a far more talented roster than he had in year one. He has 6 first rounders on his team from the last few seasons, including he second and third picks of the draft.
He’s 47-144 as a coach. That’s is horrific. In fact it’s the worst record ever for a coach 2 1/2 years in.
Us rockets fans aren’t expecting contenders this year, but there is no excuse for not being significantly improved.
Silas seems like a great guy. I like him as a person. That’s his downfall. He’s too nice. And although liked, not really respected as a Coach. He’s more like a buddy who has the job. I was excited about hiring Silas a few years ago, but there just isn’t any body of work that justifies keeping him around for next year.
We need Sam Cassell
CALVIN MURPHY FOR ROCKETS HEAD COACH
I’m really sick of the impatience in sports. Bad teams pull the plug on their coaches quickly and never build continuity.
I will remind everyone that the warriors fired Mark Jackson after three years, and then Steve Kerr lived off his development of players
uh….we need to be losing. i have no problem with us losing and trying to get Victor. Jabari and Jalen will be good NBA players. I don't think Silas is the future coach, don't think players respect him. Don't think he knows what hes doing and honestly, he probably also don't want to be there much longer. However, we need to be tanking for Victor. I think we are a better team than last year even if the record doesn't show. Sengun, Jalen, KPJ, KJ Martin are definitely better players this year than last year. I think we get an interim coach soon for the rest of the season.
We won't be tanking next year since OKC owns our pick the year after. However, we need to be tanking this year one more time since we still own our pick, especially with Victor in the draft.
