Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes discuss Giannis Antetokounmpo’s career high 55 points scored in the Milwaukee Bucks 123-113 win over the Washington Wizards. Nick weighs in on Giannis’ play and explains even without his wingman the Bucks are still competitive because Giannis is so special. The group then discuss the offensive explosion this year in the NBA with 10 players scoring over 50 points in a game this season.

the past 3 weeks in the nba has been ridiculous
He said the 90s again to discredit Jordan. Lol
Giannis has the HIGHEST USAGE RATE OF ALL TIME right now and gets handed 13 free throws a game on contact that is ignored for anybody else.
If he was actually officiated properly he would have 10 carries by half time because he palms the ball on every dribble and foul out through offensive fouls.
His numbers are a joke.
Cant wait for the basketball to be back everyday all day football is less interesting
🐣 The OFFENSIVE SURGE in the NBA is due to the
REFS NOT Calling CARRYING Or TRAVELING …
⭐️ Players Like Ja Morant, Giannis , Jordan Poole ETC
Nick right again players are more skill in dribbling, floaters, 3's, & midrange..
It's the bucks$$$, they are developing nba skills in 8th grade! Everyone has videos to train by & some dads are paying trainers with kids 10-12 yrs old. & the threes are a hugh part.
How is Embid not in conversation?
Why would he not throw in the joker, dude always has his best players out with injury, that's unfair AF
No one is playing defense
No the guys of today are not better than the 90s 🛑 nick specially not in the NFL, NBA stars are but not team play nobody plays defense now
Old heads will argue with you that Reginald Fluffenbachuer, who ran a 7 second 40 yard dash, is faster than Tyreek Hill
In The NFL it's different , with almost every position player reach a point where if they pack on pounds they can power through vrs being lighter and able to run a bit faster and such , when the rules changed it favored a the lighter type of player since the game became less about power and more about speed . With The NBA I do agree that overall the talent is better and yes having all counties no producing NBA players is going to allow more options to find the best of the best.
The 3 point line is at it's worst in The Post season because now teams that should not have a chance now can get hot from 3's and at least steal a game or upset , It happened to my Bucks last year and the Heat/Bubble year , Boston was a great team last year and Bucks were missing there second best player and they lost mostly because of 3's , Boston had to games where they hit a crazy amount of 3's and considering Giannis had a monster game 6 to try and end it at home but the rest of the team could not do enough to help the counterattack of Boston nailing 3's
Nick Wright is a clown, throw some D into the league then you will see the scoring dropping tremendously. Also, the Europeans play D and you saw the USA team struggle in the last Olympics until they were able to adjust. So imagine if you are allowed to play such D in the NBA.
Emphasis on offense and 3pt shooting as well as lack of physical lockdown defense (due to rule changes such as in hand checking).
man i flat out just love this show
Luka is better now
These 3 guys together are like the polar opposite of Skip and Shannon… insightful, likable, and not annoying.
It's cuz the refs won't let anyone get with in 5 feet of the shooter so they shooting open jumpers all day long and free throws constantly…Mitchell shot almost 30 free-throw on his way to 71… that's just insanity, could not get close to him or it was a foul
This is silly. The rules have definitely changed, and more importantly, the enforcement of the rules have changed to favor offense. Everyone carries, travels, etc. But it's not called now. And defense is harder, since defenders are called for everything. Plus, the NBA is more skilled/better now more than ever since the potential that was always there is being more fully tapped into globally.
All the players from outside the US who would've never even gotten into basketball. Perfect example is actually Arvydas Sabonis, who never truly played in the NBA until he was on his last legs due to being from the Soviet Union, and still was great.
