For those wondering, it was a 5 second violation, but way too small for a ref to see in person and on the review.

Lol trying to say 5.02 is a violation. It was a great shot, im ok with it

5 second violations are usually called around the 6th second, won’t complain here. Just a ridiculous shot by Sadiq Bey

Putting it on the shot clock will fix it. Even the refs count was way off.

The ref is not going to notice the .02 difference lol he’s human

If only the ref’s could’ve seen this post when it happened

I watched this like 10 times to make sure I wasn’t missing anything and ref is just getting to second 4 when the ball was inbounded

I thought it was a violation when you get to or very close to six seconds?

It was worse than this shows, it was about 5.15 seconds. Still not super obvious though

Honestly, you started the clock when the ref was still touching the ball

Good no call, Bey could shoot that shot in that scenario a thousand times and probably only make it once, and that was the once.

    That shot was ridiculous

If you watch refs left arm he doesn’t start his count until about 2 seconds in. It looks like by the time he releases he’s on 3 since you see him count out every time he moves his arm out.

“I know ain’t nobody scared of no damn Rodney McGruder”. Stat line Rodney McGruder 1 for 1 on 3’s. 3 points. 5 minutes. The difference. Ha.

They’re also not gonna call 5 seconds unless it’s closer to 6 seconds at the very end of the game
