Syracuse eked out a victory on the road against Louisville, 70-69, in a game that was close most of the way. Joe Girard III put up 28 points in the victory, and the Orange would need every one of the 10 free throws he made to win. He’d also have 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Judah Mintz had 16 points, and Jesse Edwards picked up a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double to go with his 4 blocks. For Louisville, El Ellis’s 20 points and 9 assists were tops in both categories.

Of course Louisville finds a way to lose this game 🤣
We don't play defense or rebound come cuse orange come on play with some heart bed coach bayheim deserves a better effort from his team they need to start playing defense and freaking rebound Benny Williams come on bro come on dude you two Gerard play some freaking defense
I'm Syracuse lifelong fan I'm I'm talking since 1980 and I've never seen a coach behind team ever play this bad for undefense never seen it I'm never seen them play this bad on defense even last year they work this bad on defense and it's not coach it's not the coach it's not Coach Wayne no heart and I know when it comes down to we pay these kids too much money they should have never gave these kids this money to come to school I mean give him money but not that much these kids don't play with heart they don't play with emotion I mean play defense and rebound and I've never seen a Syracuse team be this bad at both those things defense and rebounding and it's not coach behind I can tell you that right now it's not coach coach it's the players coach Manheim puts the it's coach fault I know won the game but come players not coach n it's heart
Girard out rebounded all three forwards. That’s sad
I was here at the game. It was pure chaos
Vatican made a call
Ellis looked like a puppet under mind control on that last possession had an easy path to the rim had a head start on everyone
Lol 😆
Give Hercy Miller 20 mins
Kamari Lands falls every single time he takes it to the rim. Be strong with the ball and going up.
Walk 2:40
F Louisville
The guards from Syracuse have to play thru contact. Going to the floor with minimum cobract gets the entire team out of position/ The potential is there to improve/
Sad thing is that s the best Effort from Louisville in awhile 🤔
Great road W 'Cuse. Louisville made some insane circus shots that had no business of going in, and had some immaculate rebounds, but turned the ball over and missed too many free throws. Their luck evened out.
He had a man wide open to his right for an easy, open look with plenty time on the clock. But no, he had to be the hero. Way to humble him, 'Cuse!
It was an excited but at times sloppy game. I sat behind the Syracuse bench!
Been a Cuse fanatic since 1979, worst win I've ever seen, a Catholic YMCA team could out rebound this team! A 6 foot tall kid with asthma out rebounded 4 power forwards! And one of them a 5 star recruit! If we were in the Ol' Big East we would be 2-13 right now. The Ville isn't that bad, and some of those early cupcake losses, well those teams are not cupcakes, keep you're chin up Louisville, blue-bloods don't stay down for very long.
What happened to fans flashing the L hand signal? Just everybody flash after the game.
Win is a win but a very salty win vs 2-13 team… Other teams have blown out Louisville all season.
Bet Hatfield wishes he was still a vol
A win is a win is a win… Louisville is a difficult place to win no matter what their record is…
I truly believed after the loss to Bellarmine we would have realized who we are and gained a little confidence, if the practices are so intense as Coach Payne says they are I don't understand why no one's getting any better?? And Ellis, as Our point guard he knows he can score so that's why he should pass more, he should be averaging at least eight to nine assist every game, seven assists really is a let down.. With his scoring abilities and how easy he can get to the rim.. Honestly I would never start a campaign to fire Kenny Payne this quick, he at least needs two to three years, and with the tremendous coaching staff we have, I don't understand why we're this horrible,,, This is just starting to get really embarrassing for the city of Louisville…
