I don’t watch enough Raps games to have a valid opinion but he always looks excellent defensively when playing the Wiz. Interesting how this feller gets little-to-no attention regarding DPOY. Is he consistently a lockdown defender or just very very versatile?

Why would the raps trade him? Everyone keeps talking about how he’d be a good fit on any team, so why not just keep him in Toronto and rebuild around him and Scottie. FVV, Siakam, Boucher, or Birch all seem like better trade options for this team.

I’m cautious about being a homer but watching OG every night I honestly think he’s reaching the level of Jimmy Butler/Paul George wing defense. He’s there with the best of the best.

Jaden McDaniels guards 4 positions (except C). Wonder how many guys can do this? I’m not talking about being able to switch positions on a play, I mean guarding positions as a primary matchup.
Am I trippin or is it possible that OG, Pascal, and VV are simply not as good as they are made out to be?? having a core like that, plus Scotty Barnes, should allow for 1 key piece to make them a contender.. but obviously without that key piece they are a fringe playoff team..

I don’t mean to be a hater, but OG didn’t look too great defending Giannis last night. Giannis could get what he wanted in the paint and got easy looks for teammates when other raptors players doubled him. That being said, I think OG is an incredible defender for pretty much every other superstar…
It’s a wonder why the Raptors have been so awful with OG’s defense and Siakam being one of the best all around players in the league.
