The Grizzlies showed up to play. We looked like Freshman playing against the Juniors and Seniors out there.
Hey if you can, look at the Brooks and DSJ play. When DSJ fouled him then Brooks kind of kicked him off of him. But DSJ got the Tech. Brooks is saying something over and over to DSJ while he’s at the free throw line. And Oubre and DSJ are talking back to him.
It sounds like he’s telling them to check out his blog.
This is a bad team of misfits. At this point, team management is just as bad and out of touch with what it takes to put together a winning team and quality product on the floor. Compare Memphis with Charlotte. Both are small market teams so using the market appeal to free agents doesn't wash. Memphis has their star Ja Morant, Charlotte has LaMelo Ball. Almost all of the other Memphis players were available to Charlotte via the draft or free agency so there's no excuse there either. Hornets have no reliable shooters and many of their players are offensively selfish. Outside of Ball, the most assists by another Hornet was 4 by Rozier. There were several like McDaniel that had 0 assists but multiple shot attempts. Even Ball made only one attempt at assisting Williams in this game after virtually making no attempts in the two or three prior games. He has no problem dishing it to Plumlee. Injuries as an excuse is getting old as it's a factor for all nba teams. Poor shot selection, ball handling, turn overs, weak efforts in rebounding and loose balls are characteristics of an undisciplined and low basketball IQ team.
Based on team play and continued losses, l would bet Ball will not sign his rookie extension and there will be a Kemba Walker re-run. They should blow it up at the trade deadline with Plumlee Rozier, and Bouknight. Moving Oubre is now out with the injury. Should pray for lottery magic getting Scoot as LaMelo insurance if not Wembamyama. I don't think the league will let

Also though you could point out the bad defense played unfortunate injuries. Since def. has been horrible since “JB era” and during that time JB still never tried to change that.
