Schedule loss vs Magic, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander returns to drop 33 points | Thunder Podcast

Rylan Stiles (@Rylan_Stiles on Twitter) dives into the Oklahoma City Thunder losing to the Orlando Magic in a scheduled loss on the second night of a back-to-back after the OKC Thunder dominated the Boston Celtics. Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander returned to the floor and once again posted 30 points, Josh Giddey got a groove going in the fourth quarter, OKC saw their rookies Jalen Williams and Jaylin Williams struggle, but the schedule did them no favors. Veterans Mike Muscala and Kenrich Williams bounce back, and Isaiah Joe did all he could to have the Bricktown boys claw back.

  1. Three things I learned from this game

    1. Jdub is a future All Defensive player
    2. We need a center like badly
    3. This is Darius Bazley’s last year in OKC

  2. We saw Mo Bamba briefly. Why aren’t we making that deal to bring him in? He isn’t our future, but he could be a key piece to second unit long term, for cheap.

  3. Yes, I would be happy with a split at home against the Wizards and Mavs… But, I believe that we can beat both the Wizards and Mavs…

  4. We were a step behind all night on defense as Orlando was sharper on offense and executed their gameplan.. This was a scheduled loss after destroying Boston the night before… On to Washington on Friday and host the Mavs on Sunday…
