Raptors put some new scoreboards in their practice facility.
They’re able to do film sessions while on the court and display data like deflections, 2-point and 3-point %’s from their games and more.

Pretty sure they’ve had these metrics for awhile. It’s just the big display that’s new.
Literally, all we’ve seen is fg% get worse
The baseball nerds are now taking over the analytical department. Basketball is a much more fluent game and doing thing in the flow is sometimes more important than taking a high percentage shot. In basketball games there is legit some nights that guys are so hot that everything they throw up go in.
Agree. It takes time to implement technology appropriately. I suspect the idea is short term pain for long term gain. We shall see.
While I don’t think it’s something they should get rid of, perhaps it’s some data they should keep to themselves and hire coaches to teach the proper mechanics to the players based on adjustments.
