Monty has no idea how to go away from people that aren't hot.. He's terrible at making adjustments, substitutions and in game adjustments. Monty play the hot hands and not your favorites!
JJ and Monty have closed the Dorr for us. The problem is they're both extremely stubborn and hush hush on what's really going on. Monty runs all his players to the ground. AKA Devin, and it will happen to Mikal soon..
OMG, you say the things on this video I say in my own head every time I watch a game, it's crazy, even right down to the why are you playing Payne more than DWJ. Monte is a great culture building guy. He's a horrible X's and O's guy and he's a horrible development coach. He should have played Sticks way more, the talent was there, he had shot blocking, shooting, defense. Instead, he sits the pine. He's totally in love with certain guys who just show no sign of consistency (Shamet). And where was Okogie last night, they 1 F'n guy on this team that can actually go get a rebout or pentrate to the basket other than DWJ and Booker. Payne needs to sit, never seen a guard miss so many layups ever. This guy has NO touch at the rim. I think he shoots like 40% of shots at the rim or backboard. the dude misses a ton of layups. And I'm done watching Shamet struggle. Takes the guy 10 bad games to have 1 good one. And Deandre is in year 5, and not a single F'n coach on this team can get the guy to put even just a little arc on his shot?
Also – Suns next to dead last in NBA last 3 years in FTA (2023 – 27th, 2022 – 29th, 2021 – 29th). Yes Suns fans, Monte offense doesn't believe in driving to the rim and getting fouled. It's a huge problem.
Knowing Monty I just thought there was a high probability he was going to play Booker injured and make it worse. We can tell when he won't sub and when he will overplay someone else. If we "Bozos" know that DA is going to be sub'ed when he has 3 fouls, is we know Monty is going to blow a lead, etc etc… isn't it normal for PROFESSIONALS to know exactly what Montgomery Williams is going to do and just work around that rigid scheme and OUT-COACH him into a blowout?
That's why we dumped Stix, for Torri Craig. This Coach/GM/Front office has no freaking clue how to use a big man. If they could play 5 SG they would. Praying the new owners head is at least part of the way out of his ass.
I couldnāt agree more – I think Monty Williams is Mark Jackson and James Jones is a fraud. The suns have won because they have a dope young core, PERIOD! Book, Ayton, Mikal, Cam Johnson – they inserted Jae Crowder and Cp3 at the perfect time and caught lightning in a mf bottle. Their success was never due to Monty Williams, and James Jones did not draft this team. Their improvement from year to year was more because of natural maturation of young talent more than than anything Monty Williams was doing. Cp3 is now old, Jae crowder ghosted us, Booker is injured and now the TRUTH has been revealed to the world. Trust your eyes folks. This team is talented as all get up and James Jones needs to go before he throws away more assets like he did Jalen Smith
Monty is a good coach if his system is working, but it's not right now. The troubling part is that he looks kind of lost & incapable of making the proper adjustments. I like Monty, but it might be time for a different voice with new ideas.
I feel like it's time someone gave Adrian Griffin a shot. He's been on Nick Nurse's staff for the last four seasons š¤·šæāāļø. I like the guy lol he's also from my city.
Great take on the DA/Stixās situation. Everyone called Stixās a bust which is horrible since he never had the opportunity unless itās garbage time. Finally get important mins and showed he could help but it was only to showcase him for a trade! Canāt tell me he couldnāt been helping DA

Imo, a lot of your points are valid, especially about Duane Washington. However, I seriously doubt DA would thrive anywhere else. He is a great player, but he half asses half of the time. He is only aggressive when he wants to be. He doesnāt really have the heart of superstar big man.
Its CP. He slows down the offense too much. Sometimes you just gotta let the you guys HOOP AND VIBE. Especially in this modern offense age. Everytime CP returns from an injury, the team goes in a slump. The box score doesnt show his detriment because he is an elite pg and shooter, but it affects the other players.
