I interpreted this discussion as keep Sengun and Jabari – trade rest of assets for vets – get a new coach and GM. I have been so focused on trading EG – it never occurred to me that he's the only one that really knows what's going on. Why trade him away – if you need vets. I am totally confused as to the correct course of action. I do think Sengun and Jabari are the future core of the team, other than that my only strong belief is that you need a veteran coach.
We don’t need to complicate this .The solution is simple guys:
1) fire Silas ASAP, and put John Lucas in charge for now.
2) put our priority on player development, don’t care about records. We do this by having Tyty to replace KPJ as our starting PG, letting Sengun and Jalen run the offence, having KJ replace EG as starting 3. Let KPJ run 2nd unit.
3) trade EG ASAP for whatever asset we can get.
