AD will most likely be starting at the 4 when he gets back. Who should the Lakers target as a Starting big or Backup to Thomas Bryant for the ROS?

Bryant definitely deserves a starting spot and he’s been great with his shooting. AD back at the 4 should help preserve him for the playoffs and give us more size in general. More ok to start two small guards if out front court is massive.

Looks like Lakers could be potentially making a trade soon as well if they find another big man. Possibly Damian Jones gone soon. I don’t see them rolling rest of season with 3 (Bryant, Gabriel, New big) Big man plus AD on the roster. What do you guys think?

I think the 2020 route is best of 2 cheap solid bigs. We have one with TB already, someone like Whiteside would do well for more rim protection.

  4. Turner would be great with Bryant getting 20-25 mins a night off the bench scoring for the 2nd unit

If not that then start Bryant and sign Boogie or Whiteside

  5. Freeeecurry

Rotate bodies on ten days until they prove worthy as the back up big and sign them to the free roster slot. Look to dump Damian for cash considerations or something for an extra slot

  6. Cousins is the easy choice. Should play well with AD, with Gabriel at the 4, or with Lebron.

Or he plays like shit and they bring in someone else

Turner extension failure news coming out same time as this can mean that deal is being negotiated right now

  8. Indiana’s scared they fucked up. They never intended to extend Turner and no one wants to pay him and Mintz’s ridiculous contract demands next season.

Would love to get boogie he was solid for the nuggets and I was shocked when they didn’t resign him and picked up bum ass Jordan

I highly doubt that. The Lakers are winning and playing well with Bron at the 4. In fact Bron has been playing the 4 and 5 all season. But now it’s working. So what would cause them to all of a sudden change what they’ve been working on all season?

I highly doubt AD is going to return to the 4. It makes the Lakers slower and we know Ham is obsessed with speed.

Boogie Cousins is the only logical answer, but not as the starter. Thomas Bryant should be starting at the 5. He’s already established chemistry with Lebron and Westbrook so he’ll be fine either way assuming we keep Westbrook, but he definitely deserves to start.

I’ve been wanting Cousins to play for the Lakers after his first game in Sacramento. Felt absolutely robbed that he missed the entire season the year we won the title. Lol

In 2k i always sign Demarcus or Dwight and Miles Bridges 😈

I’d go after whiteside or boogie.

There’s a reason why Boogie isn’t on a team right now. Dude is washed and I hate saying that.

Wait are u guys actually advocating for giving a 10 day a starting spot? you know most of them aren’t even better than Thomas Bryant and Wenyen gabriel.
