This is a trainwreck. Jason Quick doesn't want to do his job anymore because this team is so bad lol.
It seems like teams in a slump find their way when they face POR. It's becoming a trend this season. The games back are increasing quickly.
Is a Dame hater someone that points out his poor play over the past several weeks? Or is it just someone who says trade Dame?
Grant has an off game, and Torey is all over shting on him right out the gate. Wow. 😂 Come on. Dame has been painful to watch for weeks now, and you sweep it under the rug cause "he's out best player"? Can't discect his poor play or get called a Dame hater? So silly. Stop saying logic if you are not going to use it when it comes to Dame.
News flash, best players should be held MORE accountable, not less.
Dame… game after game after game since Dallas… "our best player"… so many missed layups leading to easy runouts, very dumb passing, running bad offense, too much iso ball, bad shot selection, missing free throws, relying way too much on ref bail-outs over good shots… you SERIOUSLY skimmed over Dame's bad play. Criminally ignored Dame's bad play and chalked it up to turnovers. He was credited with 7, but gave the ball away even more with dumb play, bad shot selection, and standing around. He is at least as guilty of not filling open lanes, and making himself available as anyone on the team.
But let's spend time criticizing Eubanks while Portland STARTERS scoring ZERO points in the first FOUR MINUTES of the 2nd half while Toronto goes on a 10-0+ run. Wtf guys? Chauncey and Dame are killing Portland right now. Neither are coaching/playing to expectations. Stop excusing Dame for the terrible team offense.
My humble request, gentlemen… a bit more objectivity, please. Dame is sucking up how much salary? Imagine the bench we could have with that money. Be honest about Dame's faults or stop whinging about the "dame haters." Can't have it both ways. I want Dame to play a lot better because he is capable of doing so.
This post game autopsy was painful and, again, avoided the elephants in the room. Why spend more time talking contracts and past trades than on the actual game? Post games flip floping between "Refs" and "Cronnin"? What happened to you guys?
