  1. Jeannie Buss is satisfied with having all of the old lakers fans. She’s not trying to go after the new lakers fans. We are losing them fans to Golden State!! Restore the fate in the lakers rich tradition of championship goals.
I am from St Louis I have been a lakers fan since 79! I can’t remember a time when the lakers organization seemed so dysfunctional!! You have a deep lakers roster that is missing one piece, a three point sniper!! We have three very good point guards who can drive the ball in Lebron, Shroeder, and Westbrook, and a dominant star in one, and a dominant big man in Anthony Davis, and now a good big back up in Thomas Bryant. The time to win is now now now now! We want have this chance again next year trust me. You want to get back first round picks, after we are a none factor next year! I am sure Lebron will want out!
So you can trade him for the farm!!!!!!!

  2. Dr. Buss would have figured it out…the problem is Pelinka & everyone knows…the man is a horrible negotiator just facts!

  3. Russ's case is just on the area of role alignment. It would be different if he still gets starting minutes and he is the 1 or 2 option like in OKC, HOU, or WAS. Just think about it, the brother is still giving you almost a triple double a game despite the reduction of minutes as he is the 6th man of the team. Also, it is difficult to trade chemistry to a player. It is just too risky to take, especially in the state of the west right now, that the standings are so compacted that one wrong move can either bring you losing streaks or snatch your opportunity to even get to the play-in. I'll say its 50-50, win or LOSE, but are you willing to take the risk of trading?

  4. The Lakers should sign Boogie Cousins, keep Westbrook (6 man of the year) and trade Beverly, Nunn and Jones for some wing players. Cousins, Byrant, Gabriel and even LeBron rotating at the 4/5 to help AD

  5. Miles Turner …..the Best! and Only option!!! for LA! Do Not!!! trade for Russ W. He is too talented and now? he's getting better for the team! and with his talent! Were not gonna get someone as good as him! LA is starting to Gel! and Chemistry is Everything when it comes to being a title contender! and winning a Chip!;)

  6. To heck with the other teams that don't want to deal in good faith, we'll do it on our own. Focus on retaining the players that will help us long-term.

  7. Just accept it lakers fans, no trade is coming coz every team wants to fleece the lakers. Cap space route tho not viewed positively by some looks like the best approach nxt season

  8. SUPER helpful breakdown, Trevor. Thank you! This is why I follow you and Lakers Nation 😅
Is it fair to say our only saving grace is a superstar or star that DEMANDS a trade this season? Even that seems difficult because other teams can offer more than us

  9. Trade AD for a bunch of 3 and D guys. End of story. Id hate to trade a talent like that. But dude cant stay on the court man.

  10. Lakers need to sign Rodney hood and DeMarcus cousins in free agency. Maybe even jabari parker. All 6"8 and above. Can score 6-10 ppg and knock down an open shot. Gives the Lakers length and size and a big man to stretch the floor. Trade Nunn, Damian Jones for a decent wing like cam reddish or someone in that realm and Lakers would be nasty

  11. The Lakers are going to inevitably do something stupid to appease LeBron and seal their fate as a bottom dwelling team in the NBA for the next 6-7 years.

  12. Rob us incompetent. 3 years in and a surplus if small guards…. No wings…. No shooting. His, thus man has a job is beyond me.

  13. Well, Lakers first, the hell with the mickey mouse league, if they want Russ they gotta pay 2 unprotected 1st round picks, his contract is that valuable for clearing so much cap, if they don't wanna do, then no trade and we build the roster in house, and it has been working now, so Bron just gotta play and stfu about trades cuz he stupid as a GM

  14. Minus LBJ, Russ MVP of this team. Plays hard, always available. From this video, sounds like LAL caught tween Outhouse and Shethouse, and they don't have a key to either. Not a good outcome could be expected. Just have to keep suffering 2 more yrs…….or get a new GM, who knows how to get out of this (cough)…Mess

  15. I find it really crazy Lebron would say something like this. It was his stupid decision for bringing the Russ cancer to this team. So he has to live with it. He should also know.. if he shuts the F up and they play well.. teams will be calling Pelinka back before the deadline because he’s calling all of their bluffs. So stfu LeClown

  16. We just need to add two more players. One center and one defender.
    Keep Westbrook.
If Darwin can’t find a way to add Damian Jones into the rotation then trade him.

  17. The whole video was about hypotetically trading westbrook, I think we don't need to do that. We only need to trade pat bev, nunn and the 2 picks for a big and a wing and we should be a contender.

  18. LeBron is right. He's not the problem on the team. And the other players on the team?..I'll wait for your response…

  19. I don't think the Lakers need to make a big move. Right now, Bryant is playing better than Miles Turner, and Schroeder is playing better than Buddy Hield, and Walker was as good as Heild before he got injured. I just think we are too small many times. When A.D. gets back he will help a lot. But why can't Damian Jones get any time? And if he can't play, why don't we bring up Jay Huff and give him a try? Or maybe trade a couple of redundant guys for another big. This might save our future a bit. And they seem to be coming together as a team. At least offensively. Just gotta try to add some defense. Maybe more size will help with that.

  20. Brogan isn't worth a 1st either,I wonder wht Knicks are asking for Reddish and Magic forRoss…. wht about the d league….

  21. With the team playing well, the only thing they need is a shooter and a wing. Cam reddish for 2nd rounders could work. The shooter will require a 1st but hopefully only one.

  22. Supply and demand are not the problem. The problem occurs when there is a lack of strategic planning to form a protection to your weaknesses of your team. Players on the team have done everything they can do to be competitive. Damian Jones is the weak joint to this section and needs to be replaced with someone who will buy in and execute. Westbrook wants to stay, and I don't think he will take a paycut.

  23. Trade AD and Nunn for Derozan and Vucevic. Starters would be Bryant, Derozan, LBJ, Schroeder and Reeves.
Bench Westbrook, Walker, Vucevic, Beverley, Christie

  24. At the beginning of the season, the lakers' front office said that it would be better to wait than to make a deal early in the season because they want to see how the trade market develops. Now, they find themselves in a seller's market with teams now asking for fortunes for mediocre talent. Not sure if they're that incompetent or if they were only trying to find excuses to not make a trade at all

  25. Lakers are too dumb if they let Russ go! I mean come on man, TB is doing his things because of Russ, gabriel too. Russ turning the trash players into a threat. I don’t why this is topic right now, this team is doing well at this point.

  26. Nah.. I’m starting to think we don’t need to make any trades. We’re slowly developing our chemistry and we’re getting better. Let’s not ruin that. We just need everyone healthy.

  27. Don't hate lebron if he leaves next season, (course he will) front office isn't doing shit to get good players just because two stupid second rounds while having lebron with 38 playing at high level, with good role players we can go to the semi or already in the playoffs, 38 year better than the pussy AD, fucking is made of glass, he is the one lakers need to change for picks

  28. I don't get how people still don't get it. The whole league knows that if you give lebron James half decent players then it's game over. His team becomes a shoe in for the finals. They've known this for years. So if lebron's team needs a trade, the other teams will make sure to either give him no deal or the worst deal possible.

  29. I think the only trade lakers need is Nunn + 1st for PJ Washington. Then everyone else slides into their roles nicely and no more 4 guard lineups. Great depth and combination of offense and defense.
    PG: schroder Russ
    SG: Bev reaves
    SF: Lonnie Troy
    PF: LeBron pj
    C: ad Bryant
I don’t wanna trade Bev and Russ because they’ve been playing bc really well and PJ is a good 3&D addition
