I don’t see why not. He clearly has the most talent on the team and looks to have the highest BBIQ (although there isn’t much competition in that regard). If he doesn’t flame out and keeps working I think he will be the best player out of the current group very quickly

The raw talent is definitely there but I’m concerned about the bad work ethic rumors I’m hearing and seems a touch arrogant at times interacting with teammates. Worried he becomes an unhappy star at some point or doesn’t even develop to get to be a star

Who is this? If this is Barnes he really stood out to me when I watched my first raptors games. His passes are smooth AF and he sets up the shot for the other players really nicely.

I think he can be a complimentary part of the core. With his limited shot creation, shooting and fall on the defensive end I don’t see him as a face of a franchise type player tbh
Again things could change cuz hes very young but as of now I’m not a fan of a non-shooter being a franchise guy in 2023.
