Idk. I’ve seen him play and he obviously has potential but he’s got a long ways to go. Idk if the Spurs need a project guard right now. We already have Branham and Wesley.

I think people annoyed with prospects who are expected to be in the later half of the first round being linked to or brought up as targets with us. Need to remember something. Even if we don’t get another pic, our second round pick is practically a late first rounder with how high it is likely to be. Keeping an eye on guys projected to be in the 20s or so is a good idea given that the difference between being selected 20th or slipping to 35 is really not a huge difference in perceived quality in a draft with any depth. Historically, the first five or so pics in the second round are very close to value in a pic taken in the high 20s.
Back to the matter at hand, I like this kid as a prospect. Haven’t watched a ton of him recently but he’s on my list. I don’t think he’s going to be available in the second round, but weird things have happened, and a likely will happen, so we will see
