Russ had an influence on the NBA similar to that of someone like Allen Iverson. His unique fashion taste is very fun to watch him display. He’s the most beloved player in OKC History and will be for a VERY long time (which is difficult for any nba player), he played with an intensity that was absolutely unmatched (especially after KD left). Was he broken down in the playoffs? Yep. But the Lakers are playing great now and Russ is on his way to 6th Man of the Year, there’s still very much hope for a ring.
if you ever talked to any top professional athlete outside the country. they all laughed at nba and nfl athletes dress and antics.

Idk why everyone is acting like Russ is playing good again. Bro shooting 40 27 65 and all his stats are down per 36 besides assists. His only impressive skill at this point is passing. And that’s if he’s not turning the ball over 5 times. And his defense is just plain horrific.

Iverson made the change, but Russ has made it where media outlets actually care and promote these guy’s outfits. A lot of them are unique and over top and I have a hunch that the cameras being around are a big reason why. It even got to a point where Jarret Allen was trending for being soo casual
