Why are we cherry picking stats? Christmas was a couple weeks ago. How is stats from 2 weeks a fair indicator of how much someone should be paid over a couple years?

Keep in mind alots of bad teams will have cap space this summer. Hard to see him not getting some big offers. We only got him on a bargain because he was coming off an injury. His ability to stretch the floor is pretty coveted. His base offer will probably start at the full mid level.
Keep in mind Boston also wanted him at the beginning of the season. He chose lakers over a team that just made the finals. He may be loyal enough to take a slight discount.
