  1. You forgot the Knicks JJ, they could potentially be sellers . D rose , cam reddish , Evan Fournier

  2. Can’t say it enough, Mavs letting Brunson walk was the worst decision this franchise could of made, he made Luka’s life too easy in the back court. At this pace, Luka will end up like Harden if he keeps playing with this crazy usage, it’s amazing but Isn’t good for longevity, I blame the acquired talent, they just aren’t showing up and Hardaway way too streaky lately.

  3. The Suns or the Grizzles could pickup Miles Bridges. They could move Book to SG. Bridge will add that extra scorer. He can shoot, defend, rebound, dunk, and inside threat. They can move move players. Also, if C Paul or Booker get hurt you in the playoffs/finals Bridges is already there.
Bane is not playing as well as he did last year. JJJr still recovering from surgery. So Bridges could easily be inserted. Image the dunk highlight film him and Ja would have. The Grizzles still need some veteran on their roster. Ja is a great leader, but experience is needed in the finals.
The Giannis is doing great, but now without Middletown he having to work harder. This could hinder him in the playoffs. I believe Portis plays better when he start at center. Seem like everyone has forgot about Jae Crowder.
The Celtics and the Nets need a true big man. The Celtics got finals experience last year. That loss is still fresh in their mind. This could be number 18. Brad Steven need to cover all possibilities. What if R Williams is not ready or get reinjured in playoffs/finals. Al Horford is not consistent or dominant enough in the post. Him or Claxton in a 7 game series against true bigs; Jokic, Steven Adam, Giannis and Valanunias will be exhausting. KD and it work hard to help Claxton rebound. This is tiring out his legs. The Nets only have two sure scorers. Now that KD might be here 30 to 40 points have to be account for. Can Cam Johnson or O'Neal and others combine to make up those points?
The Maverick need to get the ball out of Luka hands 90% of the time. Players are standing around WAITING to see what he's going to do. Luka can get his points anytime/anywhere. C Wood plays better at forward. Start J McGee instead of Powell. Dallas has to protect their interior. The Maverick leadership is not obvious. Nor their chemistry like last year. I will take a winner over a superstar anyday. Last night they beat them inside the paint, out rebound them, and assist where low. Yes Luka is young, but injuries and father time happens to all. Oh yea, maybe pickup BJ Augustin on a ten day.

  4. why would the Hawks sell, they traded their picks. They’re in win now mode.

  5. Great discussion. I think Kuzma would be a good add for the Clippers to give them another competent scorer to allow them to protect George and Leonard for the finals. Clippers and Washington cap position makes it challenging, though it seems like a useful option.

Maybe bring the Spurs in with Picks and move Poeltl to Washington so they have a durable big to go with Porzingas, and they get picks and expiring contracts. I personally rather Spurs try to get a deal with Charlotte to try to get Mark Williams and a pick, though this would make sense as well with where they are going.

Maybe also McDermott goes to Clippers for some bad contracts and another first rounder either as a single deal or in a package with Josh Richardson.

  6. I remember when Javale McGee signed with Dallas, I knew it was going to be a big piece for them to lose, even though he was off the bench. He provided a lot of defense and rebounding that Ayton doesn't, and was a glue guy for them. I haven't heard anything about him since he signed with the Mavs.

  7. IF and it’s a strong if, the Suns would be open to a trade with the Bucks. if the bucks could snag jae crowder and SOMEHOW get damion Lee in return for something like a grayson allen and picks…

  8. Who do you think says no in a Suns / Grizzlies trade: Ayton for JJJ? Would Ayton pair better with Ja and this squad? Would JJJ fill a more meaningful role alongside Book/CP/Bridges?

  9. The bucks should be looking at guys like Jordan Clarkson, Terry Rozier, Caruso, Bojan from Detroit, or even a Cory kispert/ kuzma. They need either a bench spark or some new energy into the starting lineup.

  10. As a Pels fan, we don’t need to trade anyone. I could understand Jaxson Hayes being a target to someone, but watching the games there’s a couple things that they need to fix.

First: Herb Jones needs an offensive set. He needs to either develop a mid range shot, hit his outside three more often, or get a lay up package. To many times he has costed the team buckets because he misses a lot of easy shoots. His defense is great, his offense needs to improve.

Second: Jaxson Hayes needs an offensive game. Similar to Herb, he needs to be something else than a pick and roll guy. I feel like a mid range or a layup package would take him to a different level to help the team.

Third: Jonas needs to be more aggressive. I truly believe in him, but I think he should do more in the offense. Players need to give him the ball a lot more, but in a sense of setting him up to get those shots. He misses his layups frequently and that should be fixable.

Now for team wise. Turnovers and be lazy with a lead. The turnovers have been a consistent problem all year and even the past couple of years. It’s turnovers in critical situations that ends up making them lose the game or get in a deeper hole. For the laziness, being up at half time by double digits is good, but losing that lead in a few minutes annoys me greatly. So many stupid shots and just overall not finishing off a team does that to them. That and turnovers have to be fixed for the playoffs.

Now coaching: I don’t understand Willie Greens sets and why he doesn’t play some players when they are hot. We have one of if not the best depths in the league, yet when everyone is healthy he uses like seven to eight of the players when some matchups can work on other teams. Obviously I’m not a beach coach, but so many instances he uses players to an disadvantage that I just can’t explain honestly.

  11. I remember those panic trades by Orlando in late 2010. It was so obvious too. All because a load of players got sick at the same time and Miami started a bit of a run, and Otis trades for his buddy Arenas!

  12. A lot of teams don’t value the regular season anymore usually once March hits that’s when teams pick it up but the first 4 months of the season don’t matter like it used to. Teams just want to be healthy for the final 15-20 games going into the playoffs. I’ve never seen so much parity in the league during regular season it’s cause the tops teams with “STARS” and “SUPERSTARS” know it’s about matchups and health to win 🏆. Every team we consider Tier 1 “championship” ready is confident that they can win 4 out of 7. So they lack urgency IMO

  13. Will Barton would be good for the Bucks just because with Kris out… someone on the bench that can score would be massive for them.

  14. Nets gonna need a solid third option….Time to trade Nick Claxton for Myles Turner so Ben can have the spacing he needs to attack the rim more consistently and average the 20points he’s more than capable of averaging.

Ben Simmons is this generations Magic Johnson. He just needs a system similar to the one Giannis is in to facilitate that.

All Ben needs is a 5out system like Giannis has or like Lebron had in Cleveland and he can be an Elite offensive player.

  15. As Masai said when asked about the possibility of the Raptors making a push for a play-in spot during their awful season in Tampa: “Play-in for what?” They want on to tank and got Scottie Barnes with the No. 4 draft pick. If Toronto doesn’t win their 4 remaining games of this home stand (against beatable teams), then I think they will tank and tease some key players, including Fred. I’d hate to see them lose Pascal or OG (Scottie is the only untouchable).

  16. Lakers or Atlanta in my opinion should get try to get Gordan Hayward… also gary harris would be a underrated pick up for a contender
