There’s no way people think this is actually a good trade for us, right?

It’s funny how with these trades, Lakers always seem to come out on top, considering they have absolutely fucking nothing to offer, unless they giving up Lebron or AD.

  2. Background_Touchdown

It seems like these trade scenarios act like the other 29 teams are feeder teams to the Lakers.

People saying Lakers come out on top, this is a pacers fan making this trade, getting Jakob, a first to trade a Myles Turner who said he wants to be a laker, rejected contract extensions, and also offloading some underperforming vets.

Agree, we even give a 2nd rd pick for one further in future. That said Lakers are the most desperate of 3 teams and they look better after trade.

I don’t see how we think a pick that far in the future is a trade center piece.

Unprotected lakers pick in 29? That’s gold!

Max Christie better be 19 year old steph curry

  7. Frustratedtx

Josh, Jakob, and taking on Westbrook’s money for one first round pick 6 years from now? Lol.

  8. FirstTribeElder

If on top of what we get here we the pacers give us chris duarte maybe we can think about it, and thats still a maybe we think about it

  9. Only the pacers say yes to this travesty of a deal

  10. raceforseis21

They don’t care about the Spurs, therefore they just dump the worst part of the trade on them

  11. Mclitness

Tbh, I don’t even think this is that great of a trade for the Lakers. Pacers out here pulling a double fleece!

  12. Slippinjimmyforever

That ‘29 Lakers pick might be a top five pick.

  13. Axsh1boomba

People somehow think that the Spurs would accept pretty much any offer thrown at them because they’re rebuilding.

  14. onamonapizza

Give away our two best assets and have to pay the remainder of Westbrooks contract for a Lakers first (who knows what that will be) and a 2nd?

That’s a HELL TO THE NO

  15. Thatguysy210

It’s like beating someone when they’re already on the ground knocked out and barely breathing…why tf would we take this?? 😂 2029 🫠

  16. ajsandoval6

The mock trades lakers fans come up with is some of the most delusional shit ever

  17. Not much going on if we’re getting worked up over a non existent trade.

  18. Bonesawisready5

Throw in a 2023 pick somehow, unprotected 1st and sure maybe lol. Would need lakers 2027 too tho

  19. FartBoxTungPunch

Poetl alone worth a first. and to take in westbrooks dumpster ass contract should be worth a first at least as well. Lol

  20. IndigoRivers

Life gets easier when you don’t look into trades

  21. RogerTreebert6299

Ehh, it’s basically Poetl for a first as far as pieces that have actual value go. Not the worst I’ve seen in terms of trades clearly made by fans to help their team. I know people would hate seeing Westbrook here and I’m not saying it would be great for young guys’ development or anything but based on how this year is going fuck it. We could get better value for Jak and J rich straight up though without the convoluted aspect of multi team deals.
