Shoulda taken better care of the ball thats a fact but he fought back in the 2nd half. Schroder came back to earth this game too. They had no shot at this game for the most part. However, u have to factor many guys being out. Many g league guys coming thru given how many guys are out. To those sayin empty stats if he did nothing and they lost by 40 yall would say he quit. So u can’t have it both ways. Bron scored a lot last yr in a similar fashion.

Russ is saying just have fun but it’s easy to say that when you’re getting paid $47 million and the expectations to win isn’t placed solely on you but guys like LeBron, the coaching staff, etc., If it was LeBron saying that, well, he deserves to be at the stage of his career to make those comments… he’s already an accomplished champion. Russ isn’t.
Yeah, go have fun… but fun shouldn’t be at the expense of winning unless you think losing is fun.

Russ is the only reason this game was even watchable and the reason the lakers cut the lead to 5 multiple times. He was aggressive getting to the paint he did his best you ask him to be the primary ball handler for the game and he has 7 turnovers but who’s playing around him Pat bev goes out … etc. usually I do blame Russ but Russ was best laker tonight. Anyone blaming him are just scapegoating him
