THE INDIANA PACERS MIGHT GO “ALL-IN”

So the Indiana Pacers have had some pretty impressive wins over their last 10 games even after the loss to the Philadelphia 76ers last night they’ve shown that they’re a team that not only plans to fight but plans to win and with some of their most recent wins I find it hard to believe that the front office of the Indiana Pacers aren’t on the phone trying to get themselves a “Win now” piece by the NBA trade deadline.

  1. KP said at the beginning of the season he wanted to do something like Memphis, So I guess pacers are just going to try and fill in holes. I can see pacers try to get obi, OG, reddish, or Collins before a big all in move. our main core is still super young still and wouldn't make to much sense to go all in right now.

  2. James Harden just owns the refs somehow, which is nothing out of the usual. I will never understand it. May as well chalk all the Philly games up to a L. I still think an “all in” move the Pacers getting way ahead of themselves. I’m not convinced this team is any better than the 17-18 team. I don’t hate on PG either. OG should be a realistic target.

  3. Its tough as far as keeping those Guys or trading them. I'm more toward keeping Buddy and myles. This team has swag. They are must see TV.
Myles is most definitely a different player this year. I'm pretty much a fan even and I was a huge critic.

I'll have to think about the Derozan trade. McConnell has grown on me too. I honestly don't think they would go after Derozan. I've heard Obi Toppin which I'd be willing to risk.
They don't pass to Myles enough. Crazy for me to be saying this but I think they should feed Myles more. I never wanted to tank. I'm not A tank Guy literally at all. Definitely fuck them 1st rd picks especially considering our recent history of drafting outside of Msthurin.

If Pacers had Paul George they could possibly win the east. I'd be 100 percent cool with that. I think OG is the move from Toronto. Give them Duarte the Cleveland and Boston pick. Might even take more than that but go get OG Anunoby

  4. I'd rather have Lavine for sure over Derozan. I guess I'm not a big derozan guy. Paul George would never come back. I hate him now especially when he plays here as a visitor but I'd forgive him quickly if he came back

  5. Pacers need to just chill on what they have. Re-sign Turner keep Hield. Hield is an anazing shooter and he and Haliburton have great chemistry and are team leaders. Turner has become a great leader and rim protector. No trade needs to be made we just have to wait for Mathurin and Nembhard to become what they can be. Don’t mess with anything.

  6. Go for the playoff so the team can have experience since none of them ever went to the playoff, get some guys to full in the pieces and see what happens next season.

  7. Derozen doesn't fit the pacers time line. Also, They have Mathurin as his game is similar to Derozen. I am for getting Buddy Hield

  8. So here’s the current state of the Pacers: this team is way better than expected because Haliburton is elite already and Mathurin was good immediately. That being said, there is an enormous glaring hole at power forward. This team doesn’t even have a starting caliber 4 to put on the court let alone someone good. In addition, just filling PF doesn’t push this roster into special territory, but it’s actually not hard to get it there.

Here’s what the Pacers should do.
    1. Cash all three firsts in in this draft and whatever else you need to to get Brandon Miller, Jarace Walker, or GG Jackson. This team needs someone with the appropriate heigh and length to play PF. Just get a top 10 level talent PF no matter what it takes.
    2. Decide who’s part of your core. That’s gonna start with Turner’s FA, but just as important are Hield, NeSmith, and Smith. Once you know who your guys are, lock them into deals. I’d say resign Hield and NeSmith and let Smith walk.
    3. OG Anunoby has a player option after next season and he’s clearly fed up with Toronto. No one is meeting their price for him. Wait it out and sign him in FA.
    4. Now cash in your chips to go get a disgruntled front court star. You’ll have all your own firsts plus Turner/Duarte as trade chips to go alongside 3+ firsts. As a place holder, let’s say Brandon Ingram.
    5. Contend.

    Your roster is now
    PG: Haliburton, Nembhard
    SG: Mathurin, Hield
    SF: Anunoby, NeSmith
    PF: Ingram, Miller/Walker/Jackson
    C: Turner, Jackson
That roster contends in 2024-2025 with Nembhard, Mathurin, your 2023 first rounder, and Jackson all still on rookie deals.

  9. I've been saying for montus, OG needs to come here. I'd give Raptors Turner and 3 first rounders for him

  10. Honestly, I don’t blame people thinking we were going to lose a lot of games. Hali, Turner and Mathurin are playing so much better than any one expected. That’s not including more pacers players that are playing well.

  11. I’m on board with trading Chris Duarte and Isaiah Jackson for a big wing but I think we need to keep McConnell. He plays similar to Hali off the bench so the offense continues to roll at a high octane the whole game. Building a winning culture while all these young guys are getting experience is the ideal situation. Hali is a superstar and will soon be recognized as one by the end of the year.

  12. I would like to keep our players. They are very young and already this good. They all will only get better. Keep Turner because we need a big on defense.

  13. I think feeling it in a better option is to add a wing who’s young and long with shooting upside to the team and instead of adding go to scorers letting mathurin and Hali grow into that role. Instead of that Chicago package for Derozan I’d actually be more interested in Williams the wing and trusting pacers development or throwing that package for OG. This team isn’t win this year but adding that wing can make next year a lot more realistic.

  14. Lol—TJ Warren better than DeRozen & all the other goofballs you mentioned—dumb Pacers should’ve resigned him to veteran league minimum—OG would come here & play like he did in Bloomington—pathetically.
