Tyus after getting a long term deal this summer has stepped up and balled out when the Grizzlies are without Ja. Has to be one of the best backup PG’s in the league

It was a 2 year deal, not a long term deal

  2. TakeItToTheRiver

Can’t believe nobody threw a bunch of money at him last offseason. Fine by me though, he’s been amazing as always.

  3. MidnightLightss

And he’s allergic to turning the ball over. Never averaged even 1 turnover per game in his 7 full seasons

  4. muddyklux

Biggest contributing factor in B2B games without Ja. Tyus out here balling

  5. InfernoidsorDie

Why don’t other teams with star point guards who need a break every once in a while not get a Tyus Jones?

  6. Seymour_Says

Tyus Ston3z!! So glad he’s still with us. However it wasn’t a long-term deal, it was only for two years if I’m not mistaken

  7. Plants_R_Cool

The only NBA players I’ve ever played against in hs are Tyus and his brother. Always happy to see them do well.

  8. TwinPeakyBlinders

Grizz are blessed with him as backup PG, he’s so good

  9. jinxabcde

Give Ja MIP again and have him give it to Tyus

  10. BurnieTheBrony

Best backup PG in the league.

Wasn’t demoted to the position cause he couldn’t hack it as a starter, don’t bring me WB. Be happy to debate other options though

    He’s always been good, solid.

  12. Chickenjbucket

Crazy no one threw money at him. He’s better than some starters in the league

  13. RicoGemini

Easily the best back up PG in the league.

  14. He’s said before that he sees himself as a starter and he shows it the way he carries himself every night. Elite floor general without Ja on the floor and has really developed his offball game/catch-and-shoot 3 ball when playing with Ja.

  15. DefiniteSauce12

He deserves a starting job. Very pleasing game

He will start again in this league. I’m just happy he’s with the Grizzlies at this point of his career though.

The best. He needs to teach his lil bro how to shoot.

Still pissed the wolves didn’t just pay the man, so stupid.

  19. FaithlessnessTime105

Pros pro since he got in the league and one of the most underrated players

  20. Slothalingus

Was actually devastated when we got rid of him.

Something tells me we could really use a pass first point guard who also averages 21ppg right now….

  21. I was actually wondering if someone would trade for this guy, as I thought he could make that leap

  22. Always been an irrationally big fan of his watching him on that Duke title run with Okafor. Such a smooth game with limited mistakes and loves to hit timely shots. I really wish he was a fulltime starting PG somewhere so he can breakout like Brunson has.

538 projected him to be god several years ago … guess its all coming together.

  24. Bahamut727

One of my favorite players for years now.

  25. PillsburyToasters

Tyus Jones is THE backup point god

  26. Dangerous_Double2313

The plethora of talented backup pointguards in the league used to make it all the more frustrating pre-Brunson that the Knicks couldn’t get one decent pg on the roster over the past decade.
