Mavs need younger legs on this team I keep hearing the cap of bullock is a lockdown defender and I got my binoculars on looking where ,because any time he tries to guard a young scorer bullock is Uber Eats obviously Tatum and brown are stars and they do it on the regular but, both dropped near 40 on bullock muffin , Cam still 23 a 6’8 2 way wing also fits Luka timeline cam would blossom in kidd system . let me know your opinion

Thibs loved Bullock, if we can flip Bullock for Cam I would take a lowish risk high reward.
Bullock’s shooting isn’t what is making me pull the trigger here, we have seen this bounce back and there was at least some of that already happening in December. but last year he was always an elite defender for us and right now he isn’t.
Edit: the high reward isn’t all-star but potential for an elite role player
Why do you think Cam would “blossom” in Kidd’s system? We barely have an offensive system, and Cam hasn’t show much yet in his time in the league

Isnt Reddish the player Atlanta drafted with our pick? I would do it just for the offchance that he becomes a quality player to stick it even more to the Hawks
Cam sucks. That’s the bottom line.
He was the #10 pick in the draft only 3.5 years ago (which was a fall from his original projection btw)
He got traded for a 1st round pick last season
Now he’s glued to the bench and available for two 2nd round picks.
Read the tea leaves….he doesn’t have it. He won’t be in the league much longer. I’m pretty sure we only have 2 future 2nd round picks available to trade right now. I’d prefer to use them in other deals since we clearly aren’t going to part with any future 1sts this season.
Dude obviously can’t play. Been on two mediocre teams and can’t stay in the lineup. Let’s stop hoping on what could have been.

If you want to take the flier on Cam Reddish then go ahead, but it has to be very cheap. He has had significant attitude issues starting in college and hasn’t worked out anywhere so far. Sure he might get better shots in Dallas, but can you trust him to buy in on defense and consistently put effort as is needed by the Mavs? Why would you trade Bullock for him, when you know Bullock can not only shoot, but also be one of your best defenders. Unless you are confident Cam solves at least one of those issues at a high level, then you are just downgrading for no real reason
