The problem with Lowry is that he isn't an expiring contract. He, like dlo, is overpaid at this point in his career. To Ben's point, if both guys were expiring contracts, I'd rather have Lowry because of his fit for this year's team. You don't want to be on the hook for another year of Lowry though as he's only going to get worse as he ages.
Dlo has been a top 10 Pg in the last couple months. The Minnesota sports media is disrespectful to my guy

I would not do a straight up Lowry for Dlo swap. Lowry is going to make 29 million next year at 37 years old. They need to throw in a pick or something.
Do the Knicks have any garbage they can trade us? I would take a bad contract plus a first round pick and buy out the contract if I was MN.
We should trade Dlo. He just does nothing good. Even when his shots are falling that’s just good enough for us to maybe close out the game. Other that he’s a poor playmaker, his fg% went down, he doesn’t play defense. He’s getting more minutes with decline numbers. Each year his numbers are dropping, however.. I would not do a Lowry swap. Lowry isn’t as good of a playmaker either and that’s what the wolves need.
Dlo doesn't fit this team. I'm so tired of the Dlo stans. Can't wait for him and them to be gone.

The problem really is that dlo/ant and rudy/kat play the same roles, while all r limited in some way so cant easily role swap. I think dlo can play d when he tries, so he just lacks will and fitness. Ant needs to build an off ball game n be that sg. Kat, i dont know if he can really become a good 4 w perimeter d – kyle anderson is doing a much better job.
