  1. Not only is Jokic having his best season but guys like Aaron Gordon and KCP are also having their best individual seasons offensively which is highly underrated. He’s the MVP for sure the nuggets don’t go anywhere without him 💯

  2. If he win 3 in a row just throw the entire NBA away, how many players were denied 3 in a row from some unspoken rule & not to mention a 6th seed that’s never been to the finals winning multiple MVP’s…this would be a horrible look for the league

  3. Luka is the MVP! His team is 0-4 W/O him playing! It's funny how the goal-post keeps changing every year; it's almost like they are trying to avoid giving Luka the MVP for some reason! Last year it was about number's, This year it's about seeding! Luka has the Seed carrying a trash team, and he has the Number's 34.9.9!

  4. I’m sorry. There is NO WAY this mf should win THREE MVPS…let alone 3 IN A ROW?! With no ring?! 😂 what a joke.

  5. Giannis plays without Middleton and many of the key players have miss many games with 32/12/5 stat line, elite defense and just 1 lose behind Nuggets but somehow Jokic is the mvp this year, lol.Jokic was clear the mvp last two seasons, but is crazy that they can't see that Giannis is also clear the mvp this year. They have like 3-4 players over him.

  6. How to Choose the MVP:

    1. Media determines MVP Candidates Half way through the season.
    2. When MVP Candidates play against one another, they get:
+ 1 Point if they get the Win
+ 1 Point if they Outscore/Outplay (Points + Assists) the other Candidate.

At the end of the season, Player with the Most points wins.

  7. There was no inconsistency, Jokic won because there were not good candidates in the teams with the most wins, in the last few years

  8. Still upping his game after back to back MVP's is one of the most impressive feats I've seen, if he doesn't get a ring during his career it'll be an injustice.

  9. Means nothing if he doesnt at least make the FINALS. He'll be go down as the new HARDEN/WESTBROOK. Great regular season numbers, MVP's but nothing else to show for it.

  10. Jokic will not win despite his impressive performances because voter fatigue is real. You can make a good case for him, but because you can make a good case for Tatum and Luka and voter fatigue, one of those two will win. That's why Lebron, even as great as he was, never won three in a row, and he got two a year gap and then two more.

  11. Jokic doesn’t deserve it…If media voters whimsically decided in the past that Michael Jordan & LeBron James didn’t deserve 3 in a row, then there’s no way Jokic deserves it. His team has been stuck in the same middling spot the past two years. If these voters give it to him, it shows these voters reward team mediocrity if it’s their fave…

  12. RJ is one of the greatest and genuine no BS and fair sports analyst. He doesn't penalized Jokic for winning 2 consecutive MVPs.

  13. This isn't good for the award… he Shouldn't have won it those other seasons because now he deserves it, but Tatum will get it because he will have a better record with really good stats…..the mvp is a story award that's it!

  14. Only person with a chance to surpass him for first is luka if he can get a top 3 seed that’s the only chance someone really has

  15. The difference between between RW and Jokic triple double is that RW is chasing and prioritizing his individual stats. Jokic triple is within the flow of the game and what the defense gives to him.

If a defender takes him 1 vs 1…he posts up and attack the basket… If he gets double team, he passes the ball to a cutter or an open teammate.

He doesn't forced any passes or shots just to get the points or assist.

  16. Honestly he’s not MVP and shouldn’t be. Yeah he’s amazing on offense and he should be a liability on defense but in the regular season teams don’t hunt him like they do in the playoffs. Jokic is great but not MVP.

  17. He got it for the carry job the last 2 times. Why are we moving the goal posts just again for him? I’ve never seen that type of privilege for a superstar ever. He has such a better team now with guys on it having their best season ever. So Jokic is on a much better team than the last 2 years and his numbers have dipped a bit. Meanwhile Giannis and Luka are putting up arguably better numbers than Jokic had when he won the mvps and they’re now carrying their teams but they’ve managed to get them to better records and standings than Jokic did when he won the mvps. Would be completely unfair to reshape the narrative just to fit Jokic again
