Still think people take him for granted. He may not be your GOAT but there’s never been anyone like him.
Where’s Thaddeus young
Not surprising to see him keep up with the statistical accomplishments later in his career. League scoring and numbers are juiced through the roof, so I would hope he’s able to maintain his overall career statline of 27/7/7.
He had 42 career triple doubles going into his age 32 season in 2016-2017. Getting better as he aged is not the reason why he has compiled another 63 in the 5.5 seasons since then while missing 100 games.
Incredible longevity for sure, but as a long time NBA fan, the numbers we’re seeing over the last 5-10 years are no longer all that impressive to me.
His career has been impressive without the need to be mesmerized about his twilight years being played in an era all but where all but a few teams are averaging 110+ PPG, which only 3 teams reached during the entirety of the 2003-2004 through 2015-2016 seasons (13 seasons).
Damn not 27/7/7? I knew he was washed
Who is the oldest player to ever score a 6/6/6 game on .42/.06/.9 splits?
Stat Muse is just recycling their own articles.
They just posted how LeBron had more 25/5/5 seasons than [Jordan and Robertson COMBINED](https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/most-seasons-averaging-25-ppg-5-rpg-5-apg) the other week…. now they are just re-stating that in a different way.
lol
They gotta work on their content over there 😉
at this point he would really have to suddenly fall off to not average that at 40
I’m not trying to say these two guys were ever on the same level but as a big fan of Vince Carter, it blows me away to see LeBron still doing what he’s doing considering what VC’s role was at the same age.
At 38, eight-time All-Star Vince Carter was getting a fair deal of respect for accepting his reduced role and averaging 5.8 points per game in 16.5 minutes a night in Memphis. He was still good for something delicious here or there, [like this poster on Rudy Gobert](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TWDM79Xm0g&ab_channel=NBA), but it was always kind of like, “Wow, good for him for still being able to do that.”
… Meanwhile, LeBron’s out here averaging 30, 8, and 7 while throwing down reverse hammers like it’s 2011. Total madness.
