I wonder if NN has just over complicated it all. I heard of the coaching staff taking a really tech heavy approach. And FVV is the man who knows the NN system and is the de facto leader, but it isn't working so well with the youth. Barnes was a non-factor tonight. Why? The 32zone messed him? I agree Chev, I would much rather have that MSG win, we did a lot of damage to them in that loss and they owed us one anyways we had beaten them like 11-straight games at Scotiabank Arena. This Knicks team isn't going to get very far in the playoffs, if you ask me they have more problems than us because they really think they have a good team. At least we're living in reality that we got stuff to fix and this won't be our team when we win a championship. I've noticed you got some of those stupid Pensare viewers who know absolutely nothing about basketball in your comments section who think tanking will fix all of our problems. It's gonna take a lot more than just hoping to land a lottery pick, we gotta work. Sacramento tried that dog and pony show for the better part of 10-15 years and they now just figured it out after trading for a veteran player like Sabonis to finally fix their problems not a top lottery pick.

The defense was good, but we still needed to be better because we allowed too many 3s. Outside of Randle, the rookies were taking advantage of the 3 pt line.
Now we have to see how does Pascal adjust with the heavier coverage. NN has to adjust the offense because the opponents are crowding the paint.

We talk about what the players did this summer to translate into the regular season, I wonder what Nurse was doing to improve his coaching and how much he was preparing for these other teams.
I commented on 1 of your videos early this season and said idk why he has to play our main guys for 38-42 mins a game every game this early in the season and risk injuries and it didn't look like we were trying anything with anybody else. I said we should lower Freds mins to 28-34 and try some of our younger guys and people said I was a goof and must have never played basketball, why would nurse give dowtin some of Fred's minutes thats not how it works… now it's get rid of Fred and try out dowtin… lol 😆
This entire game plan was to shutdown Pascal to revenge that 52pts..🤣🤣🤣 They put 4 defenders on him everytime he got the ball…My only wish was for the other players to punish them for that game plan..Randle wanted that 52pts back ..
Our failing is that our team was not prepared to win that game…My only assumption is that we are professionally tanking…Our core 5 are being showcased for FO to decide contract values for moving forward…I'm not worried anymore…

Basketball neophytes please go away, Trade and get who back? Put some names to your idiotic comments. Changes are needed, yep. Starting with the coaches, especially the offensive coaches and then Nick Nurse. He inherited ready made team and won that very year and has underperformed ever since notwithstanding pandemic. Name a player outside of the core that he has mentored that’s thriving now, the answer is where the problem lies.
This team looks like they don't know how to or what to do on offense sometimes. I wonder if they are just overthinking it. I also feel more and more confused about this team, are they tanking? Are they just not jelling well because of how NN runs this team, is there something happening in the locker room? Also NN facial expressions are not helping the mood of this team, I feel like players are just not jelling with the coach anymore.
It was a really close game. We have alot of basketball left. Our young guys are learning. Let's enjoy the process. Great video, keep up the positivity.

You know what Chev, I haven't given up on us nor will I ever. But am now approaching each game as it unfolds. We don't know what's going on in the background. I watch the post-games interviews and am left to wonder after listening to NN and Fred sounding defeated but optimistic. At the same time, am tired of screaming at Scottie to just take it to the hole when he's in the paint. Am tired of screaming at Fred to not dribble through fucking trees for a guaranteed turnover. Am tired of screaming at NN to please, make a sub when necessary. Am tired of yelling at Chris to move away from the 3 point corner and brick shit 9/10 times. Am not looking for a miracle to turn this shit around. As long I see guys showing "heart" and not giving up, that's all I can ask for at this point. It may not be the coaching staff. It may not even be the players. It may just be that we're meant to be in this position for whatever reason. Yes, we can blame the refs to some extent but I can't help but think, may be this is all for the good in the long term. All I know for sure is that, Masai and Bobby are watching the same games we watch but the difference is, they have the power to make the necessary decisions like it or not. I remember there being an interview where Chris Boucher mentioned he was working too much on his shooting (this was the year he got his career high) and that everything only started falling in place when he started running the defensive drills like the coaching staff wanted them to. I also remember Nick Nurse saying how he didn't care about Boucher bulking up and putting on weight… wth?
It's always been at the back of my mind as to coaching staff being a part of the blame why player development has slowed and why we have abysmal shooting percentages. Am so glad Chev has been open about it and making it known. It used to be if anyone said anything about the coaching you'd get hated on. If these defensive schemes don't work no more stop doing it lmao. These mans need to stop leaving the damn corner 3 open. Enough bull shit iso ball with other teammates standing and watching. We need well practiced shooters and someone whom Nurse will allow to run the offensive schemes.
