SNY NBA Insider Ian Begley says that the Nets will fare better than they did last year in the absence of Kevin Durant for a variety of reasons. This season, for instance, Durant will only miss two weeks as opposed to six, and the Nets only play six games during that stretch. Ian also made note of the lack of James Harden drama, which affected the team greatly when Durant returned from injury last season.

Two weeks thank god 🙏🏾 it's only that
Long losing streak incoming
Yea if you’re asking me these next 2 weeks are are gonna prove how good of a coach Jacque Vaughn really is and his adjustments during the game how different they will be who starts certain games and to see if this team really is championship caliber or if it was all KD who’s been playing like an MVP candidate so I’ll be watching for sure
4 games in the next 2 weeks, while having plenty of rest watching the rest of the east beat itself up until Durant returns.
I'll take it, If we go 3-1 or even 4-1 during this stretch. Crown JV COTY now.
yo why his eyes look like they floating
Literally kd got injured in the best time but still wish he never got injured speedy recovery, they saying he could come back before
Im hearing he'll be out a month.
Nets gonna need a solid second option….Time to trade Nick Claxton for Myles Turner so Ben can have the spacing he needs to attack the rim more consistently and average the 20points he’s more than capable of averaging.
Ben Simmons is this generations Magic Johnson. He just needs a system similar to the one Giannis is in to facilitate that.
All Ben needs is a 5out system like Giannis has or like Lebron had in Cleveland and he can be an Elite offensive player.
Reevaluated in 2 weeks. Meaning they will see where he's at. So it could be 6 weeks again. Teams don't want their competition to know how long their star will be out
It’s weird that kd is always injured right around all star time
We can officially say January is kd worst nightmare cuz he got injured 3 years straight now
