    We have 5 total losses to the Pistons, Spurs, and Hornets, who are 3 of the 4 worst teams in the NBA. That’s 23% of our total losses. That’s beyond pathetic and is unacceptable when you are fighting with 9 or 10 teams for your playoff life.

    Those 5 losses are going to haunt us when looking at the final standings.

    As much as it would be easy to overreact to this game I really think its just one of those games, they shot like gangbusters, we had way too many sloppy turnovers, and generally didn’t bring enough effort. It really sucks but what can ya do.

    Ant shouldn’t have played it all. That he somehow played again in the second half is ridiculous. What the fuck was Finch thinking.

    Every time I get excited about this team, they go off and lose to the fucking Pistons or something.

    Horrifying defensive performance. Bench absolutely blew that game.

    There is a healthy team we haven’t seen play yet guys. Bad loss but nowhere near out of the playoff race either.

    I think the most frustrating part about this whole thing is and has been the consistency of this team. We get a good look for a couple games, have a little win streak even beat one of the best teams in the west just to return to mediocrity losing to the pistons.

    What’s happened with all the hype posts about being 6th seed on Friday? Didn’t you know Bogdanovic and Bey don’t miss heavily contested 3s? I swear every time we shoot from 3 around 50% our opponents shoot at the same level.

    That was just an absolutely pathetic effort especially defensively. Nowell cant be bothered to play defense, Naz apparently decided to revert back after his good string of play, and more people could get called out tonight. But this was just dogshit

    Games like this are why it’s unfathomable to me how some of these NBA teams go on 7+ game win streaks. We never see it here in Minnesota. Yet every year some random team is just tearing up the league. I think the Knicks had a huge streak this season, I see mediocre teams get 5+ game win streaks a lot. It’s a miracle for us to crack 6. I could not imagine winning like 10 games in a row ever.

    That was very strange with Ant tonight. Did he take himself out of the game and then bring himself back in?

    If he was ruled out with and injury there is zero reason why he should have went back in.

    However when he went back in it looked like he was moving well enough that it’s weird that he ever sat out.

    Then we’re down 20 and Finch has him play the entire 4th quarter for no reason other than to kind of “stick it” to Ant for potentially taking himself out.

    That was a very weird situation that made no sense to me. Be interesting to see what they say about it.

    I know this sub is going to put all the blame on Finch, but I have *never* seen a team with less accomplishments have the ego that we have.

    We go into these games that are *easy* as fuck wins, and go out and fucking embarrass ourselves because we think we’re in another league.

    Then we’ll whine about the loss, say we know what the problem is, and then do the same fucking thing the next time we play a below .500 team.
