Hey everyone Adrian Woj on ESPN confirmed that Brooklyn is looking to be very active at the trade deadline in a few weeks.
Especially with KD being out Brooklyn will be evaluating their whole roster and seeing what value they can build with possible trade pieces such as joe Harris patty Mills cam Thomas and Dayron sharpe.
Brooklyn was mostly looking for a center such as Jakob Poeltl or Myles Turner who can further help Brooklyn with defense and rebounding.
But lately new reports are saying Brooklyn wants a "star" power forward who can compliment the rotation more. Kyle kuzma and John Collins are at the top of that list. Kuzma could easily be inserted into Brooklyn starting unit to create a strong rotation with Kevin Durant Kyrie Irving Ben Simmons and nic Claxton 🔥.
But John Collins has been the most connected to Brooklyn for his ability to be a two way player, rebounder and a interior scorer who can also knock the three down
Plus let's not forget the buyout market has been good for Brooklyn to add finishing touches to their roster 🔥.

One route Brooklyn could go to meet their needs are two crucial trades that were recently stated:
Brooklyn nets: Jakob Poeltl
Spurs: patty Mills and cam Thomas
Brooklyn nets: Jae crowder and Dario Saric
Sun's: joe Harris and a draft pick.
Brooklyn captilizes on getting a good backup center in Jakob Poeltl who can rebound and impact the offensive side as well. The spurs get a rebuilding piece in Thomas while patty can help lead the team.
Meanwhile a defensive center combo of nic Claxton and Jakob Poeltl would make Brooklyn very strong at that position
In the other trade Brooklyn goes all in Jae crowder who can bring defensive grit, three point scoring and length. Plus Brooklyn can rotate crowder and Royce o Neale in the starting rotation depending on matchups. Meanwhile Dario Saric would be a good addition to the bench and add some more length.
Both of these moves would help set Brooklyn up with more length when KD comes back
Having Yuta Watanabe and TJ Warren has greatly helped Brooklyn bench. Plus Seth curry scoring and Edmond Sumner energy have been good layers as well. Hoping Markief Morris can get some more good minutes as well to show why he was a big veteran signing for Brooklyn.
Ben simmons determine if nets can beat celtics. If he cant slow down the jays then nets dont have duo advantage. Nets cant win when other teams best two match kd and ky

Why have we become comfortable using Patty Mills as an easy go-to punchline? Have we forgotten what he has done for this team in desperate moments where he's been required to step up? There's ACTUAL players on this bench who have contributed next to nothing and yet still it's Patty who's synonymous with "bottom of the barrel". I dunno, it just feels disrespectful.
Definitely Seth should start.
Ben has to step up offensively. Ive been saying this since the number of games I could tolerate his shittiness on offense expired. Like I gave him time but this man doesn't want to be aggressive. Defensively, i dont really have a problem with him
