I’m sure he knows it too.. but it’s probably the best thing that happened to his career.
He came to a team that is rebuilding..compared to a team that has been without a track for 30 years.
He leads his team.. and a key player in a team of young players,In washington wizardshe wouldn’t get 20% of what he gets in Indiana.

If there was a tournament in 2020 he would have gone like 4th. That being said it is baffling that they didn’t take him. LIke what was the evaluation and thought process behind that. When the Knicks took Obi Toppin I was so happy bc I thought we had him and then was crushed when Haliburton was not the pick.
