Finally, he is back. Rubio is the 7th man coming off the bench. But the question is whose minutes is he taking? I would love to see a Neto, Rubio, LeVert, Osman, & Love rotation off the bench with Okoro, Lopez, and Diakite used as situational reserves. Neto and Rubio's backcourt off the bench gives u defense & playmaking to get the best out of Love, LeVert, and Osman's offensive output.
I’d cut Robin, I’d cut Neto sign Cousins or Hassan and IT! Plus I’d pick up Carmelo Anthony as our wing. That’s far better depth and Anthony is a cheap answer who would be perfect for us outside of Lebron. Who could return once Anthony runs out of gas, down the road. But Melo for sure would fit in and play that role, he proved it in LA. He doesn’t have to play 30 minutes and could provide shooting and size.
Trade LeVert for a 3 and sign Jeremy Lamb and have him Rubio as the second team guard lineup
They need him to break the monotony that is garland and Mitchell. Love both of them and obviously any runs in the post season will rely heavily on the 2 stars. But I feel, the big reason guys like Okoro, Stevens and Wade were good last year was because of Rubio. They badly need another guard in rotation.
