It's just one win. Knowing how inconsistent my Flippers have become this year, they'll end up losing 4 of the next 6. We can't seem to sustain consistent great performance beyond a few games.
My dad asked me, what's going on with the Clippers? My theory is this: I think Kawhi's teammates are getting sick and tired seeing Kawhi and Paul George in and out of lineups. That's why the effort is no longer there.
They're never around even at the same time. If Kawhi comes back, PG is out. If PG comes back, Kawhi will be out again. And this has been going on for 4 seasons already. It's getting sick and tiring. Our older age is getting to us too. We're easily gassed.
Lou Williams was a better Clipper than Kawhi and Paul George ever were. This is the honest truth coming from diehard Clippers fans. When we didn't have any All-Stars, Lou would show up like 75+ games of those seasons.
When Kawhi came, he ruined the culture we built with Lou, PatBev, and Trezz. This blue collar culture with 100% effort. I'm not saying Clippers should trade Kawhi or PG. But we're spoiling them with over $350M between them and they're not exactly living up to their price tag.
Everything with these Clippers is just wait and see. Kawhi and PG are actually worse than ADisKnee. Worse. Showed up in less games. At least AD was healthy for most of the bubble season. It's almost like Kawhi and PG just want to live in LA, collect from Ballmer, and that's it. Pick and choose when to show up.
I'm glad T Lue benched Reggie and is giving us less Wall too. Something is up with Reggie. He has a groin injury but he has disappointed this season. Very inconsistent. And Wall is as useful as Kemba Walker who keeps switching to different teams.
What's crazy is even though we had lost 6 straight before that win over Dallas, we're only 1 full game behind Sacramento for the division title. We really need to see what Kawhi is made of these next 4 to 5 months if we get that far. Until then, I'm not jumping up and down. It's been a very up and down season. We can lose the next 5 straight for all we know.
I hope what Richard said is true and Lue was showing the Clippers front office why guys like Reggie, Wall, Powell, and Luke can’t play together. Makes more sense than him becoming incompetent overnight 😂. He’s been one of the better coaches and then during this 6 game losing streak looked like Doc Rivers Jr.
They need to keep it consistent. Less load management and more play.
Jalen has 0 business on this show. Keep the regulars and lose the Stephen A and Jalen appearances. Bad enough they’re on any show but why mess with the continuity of this one?
Healthy and at his best, Kawhi is on par with Giannis, KD, Tatum, Luka, Embiid, Joker and Lebron.

Most NBA players would love to have a franchise owner as enthusiastic and willing to write big checks like Ballmer does.
On paper, he technically should have a title-contender roster on his hands. Instead, Kawhi's been MIA and PG's hasn't been able to carry them.
The man's even trying to get the Clippers their own stadium, to escape some of that little-brother syndrome in Los Angeles, but his team isn't being worth the fuss, so far.
Even a billionaire doesn't deserve that kind of lack of bang for his buck. 😅

It feels like NBA fans and the media covering it, in general, really like seeing Kawhi Leonard play and do well. There are obvious things to criticize him over, but all in all, everyone just steps back in awe whenever Leonard is on it like he was in this game.
Hopefully they do this consistently and lessen the Load Management
