  1. Whenever I see Fischer’s name it is usually 95% full of shit with random rumors he either throws out on Twitter or articles like this that get taken out of context when posted on r/nba but I do appreciate that you can tell he actually knows what he is talking about: Mentioning Nesmith’s impressive play is not something a lot of national media folks would know about or even acknowledge.

Extend myles and give him a no trade clause so we dont have to see another lakers fan coming in peace again

  3. Nobody, and I mean nobody, expected us to do this well. I am very high on this group and predicted 34-38 Ws at the start of the season, we are on track for 46-48. It makes sense to me to look at buying to try and form a core this season that we can run with next season and aim for an even higher win ratio.

If we can bring in a good power forward, Nesmith can move to the three and back up the four. If we can bring a power forward who can defend and rebound we are looking at a team that has a good defensive front court, whilst having a backcourt that can pile up the scoring (even if Buddy leaves, a Hali/Mathurin backcourt is a nice luxury).

I’m all for making the move now. Our 3 picks this year don’t hold much value with Cleveland and Boston performing well, our own isn’t projecting to be lottery either, so we do need to consider what is moved in a ‘buy now’ scenario. And at that point Hield has to be on the table, as well as Duarte.

I just hope we take a solid swing if we make a move, something that’s gonna help us for the next few years rather than just bringing in a stop-gap to improve rebounding (for example).

If we could get a young PF out of some combination of Theis+Picks that would be ideal
