How high could the Oklahoma City Thunder trade up in the 2023 NBA Draft?

How good has Jalen Williams been as a rookie at the halfway point? Is Cam Whitmore a perfect fit for OKC? How good can Nick Smith Jr be? Is one Thompson Twin better for Oklahoma City than the other? 1. I’m interested to see the type of player OKC takes in the draft. Is it likely that OKC will only have one first round draft pick in 2023? Because of the New York Knick’s trade? Protected picks etc.

  2. I feel like J Dub is like a modern Jrue Holiday (Not that Jrue is a old fashioned player, he simply isn't as long and athletic as most young players today). Great team player, elite perimeter defence and defensive versatility, will peak as an all star in a few seasons but no one will ever question the value he brings to a team.

  3. I’ve watched most of the OTE behind the scenes content featuring Amen and Ausar Thompson. Ausar is more “heady” and will think before he speaks while Amen is more social, silly, and will speak off the cuff. Although they both work hard I believe Ausar has the slightly better work ethic. Amen mentioned how Ausar keeps him accountable by waking him for workouts even when he doesn’t feel like it. They both constantly are getting shooting lessons, including one from Mike Miller, so it’s a bit concerning that Amen has shown no improvement. Amen may have more natural athletic abilities but Ausar has better reflexes. Ausar is the best ping pong player at OTE and always beats Amen. And those reflexes are evident with his superior defensive instincts. I’d take Ausar if it were up to me in this draft

  4. If we get number three pick at this point I think the pick would absolutely have to be Brandon miller for our power forward position… Not saying it can't change but right now it has to be Brandon miller… Followed by Nick Smith.

  5. I don’t want to embarrass Rylan but I hope his followers appreciate what an astute judge of talent he is. There are a lot of draft shows and public opinions going on but having a feel for how a young kid will project in a couple of years and how he will fit in is a gift.
