  1. Wait, this feels weird. Is ESPN campaigning for Jokic right now? It's like the nth video in 5 days. I like it lol

  2. If jokic average more than 10 assist per game while shooting over 60%, will he get his 3rd MVP? He's not even trying, he's just playing to win games.

  3. Jefferson was literally saying 2 weeks ago Jokic is the guy and someone gotta come take it from him. Switching up crazy.

  4. The Nuggets treated RJ like a salary cap piece and traded him late in his career, you can sense RJ is still a bit biased against Denver

  5. I'm a Nuggets fan and Jokic is building a great case, but I think Luka is ahead of him this year.

As for the past two years, it was a tossup between Jokic and Giannis with the slight edge both years to Jokic, but it was close.

But, Luka is definitely a floor raiser as well as a ceiling raiser and he should be considered even if the team's record reflects his lack of help.

I will say that Westbrook shouldn't have won when he did though. His totals were impressive and he definitely carried, but not on the best efficiency and when we're lauding scoring, being efficient is very important. Not the worst pick in the world, but not the best.

Also, as a Nuggets fan, I'm glad that people appreciate Jokic, but I don't care about the MVP. I just hope that they can win in the playoffs this year. A lot of that doesn't hinge on his throwing ten assists. A lot of it hinges on MPJ being a good help defender and playing good enough defense to not be continually attacked on switches.

He's shown growth on that end and they've been improving as they gel, but that matters a lot more than Jokic getting another MVP.

  6. If replacing his competitors every team would get better by switching in Jokic. The nuggets would be worse every single time. Only Homer's are rooting for anyone else. 25 11 10 top 20 in steals. And leading his team to a 1 seed in the west.

    Get out of here

  7. Only cause he's white smh he's better than Kobe, and LeBron smh 🤣 yea right. Overrated. Tim Duncan was better than this clown.

  8. I love watching joker play cant guard him you can't triple team him cuz he sees it comeing he sees his teammates moveing off the ball to score its incredible watch him for a dude who cant jump

  9. Wait with how many all stars is Jokic playing? Oh yeah none, it would be a crime to give MVP to Luka a true definition of stats chaser like Harden and Russ.

  10. RJ is discounting why Jokic and and Westbrook won their MVPs on non title contending teams.

Jokic literally had the highest PER of all-time last season and Westbrook was the first player to average a triple double for 60 years. Luka will have to do something historic to be included with those two cases.

  11. The difference between Giannis and the others on this list is that he has the bucks winning without their second best and at times third best player.

  12. This yeah for sure there’s no argument from me. As of now, Jokic is MVP

Last year I was a f**king hater. I didn’t believe a sixth seed should’ve been warranted for MVP, however, Nikola winning and historically speaking, he’s unreal.
