Brooklyn is probably gonna slide without KD for a while, and Bucks have been fishy. Brooklyn needs a backup big for Claxton, think otherwise they will be fine.
Watching tonight’s games, C’s really are that good. Their offense flows nicely, they are super connected on defense, and have two tough as nails stars in the Jays.
Bucks… Man idk what their deal is. Not sure if it’s been a coaching choice to not have Giannis take so many shots, but he hasn’t been breaking through a walled off defense with confidence. He’s been passing the ball a lot more which is good, but his teammates are kinda bricky. They barely beat out Atlanta yesterday after being up by 24 near the end of the 3rd quarter.
Memphis has been good, I’ll give them that. I think they have benefited from playing some weaker teams recently. The Hornets the Magic and two games against the Spurs make up 4 of their 8 straight wins. But before that they lost to the Suns without Booker and GS without Steph. And of course, they lost to the Nuggets as well.
The Celtics might be the only defense staunch enough to beat Jokic. I hope we get to see that matchup.
All that is to say, fuck the narrative, keep on pushing, let’s get the Nuggets to the Finals.
