Another to consider is that, our team has no legit 3 point threat so the defenses pack the paint leading to Lebron having to drive more often which tires him out and he will shoot more fatigued threes . Less spacing on this team means they can collapse on his drives and play him closer and not worry as much about the kickout
Surround Bron with some shooters and I think his % actually increase due to the gravity drawn in by these shooters

Only explanation is some minor injury bothering his shot, i.e. an ankle or back injury affecting the weight of his jumpshots.
He has never been an elite shooter but he has been a respectable shooter in his time as a Laker, which is more than enough sample size to show that he has the ability to shoot.

It’s actually kinda crazy that to think that he’s managed to become pretty much an undisputed top 2 GOAT player when his shooting is average. Like, his 3 ball, his FT, and his mid range are nothing to write home about. Can you imagine if he was an even above average shooter. Not even talking Curry/Durant but just a 37/38% three ball, 83/84% free throw shooter.
He’s genuinely be the most astounding player ever. If he isn’t already.
