They lost by 30 in the last game Ja played that series…

Bane was terrible in that series, just like he was on Christmas Day and yet they always come out & say “we had them.” That’s just like when Grant Williams came out after the Finals & said he felt that the Celtics were the better team, they just beat themselves. C’mon man.

It’s honestly disturbing how obsessed they are with the Warriors franchise.

Unpopular opinion: I really like this rivalry. Even regular season games we play against them are super charged and tense because of their cockiness. I say good for them, and let’s hope we crush their necks.

He confuses “played them hard” and had them on the ropes. They were definitely a challenge. Because they are a really good team. But that isn’t good enough. For some weird reason they desperately NEED to believe they were/are the better team. They were never in control of the series. the last time Ja was on the floor Ja was limping off after being getting blown out on route to going down 2-1.
The Celtics Have a reason to feel like they had us on the ropes. They controlled the 1st half of the series, and presented real matchup challenges.

Hypothetically speaking, if Steph hadn’t turned it over in G7 and we stayed healthy against the Raptors, we could have won 5 straight. Steph could have had 6 rings 3 FMVPs by now contending for GOAT.
MJ could have won 8 straight and LeBron could have been 2-8 if Kyrie and Ray hadn’t made those threes.
