Morey drafted like shit but made a smart trade in Harden. Everybody including me thought he was Scarlett Joe Hansen on that limitless crack. I hope we give Stone more time. He can't be responsible for the owner being too cheap to fire Silas and hire someone that you need to pay more than 3 million. He fucked up with Theis but made enough good picks these last 3 years to offset that. He got us Sengun, KJ Martin, found Tate, locked up KPJ on team friendly deal, turned CWood into Tyty and 2 second round picks. I think he's done a good job. If we get pick 1 or 2 then it's worth it.
For all we know ownership didn't want him to spend money on a PG or more vets and just wanted to be cheap. All this speculation about dictating rotations and minutes by Stone is just speculation. I can speculate that maybe the Harden deal got fucked because Tilman thought it would be cheaper to not pay Levert or Allen and get the expiring Oladipo.
TLDR of my comment is – Tilman be cheap and I hope he sells the team if he doesn't want to pay enough money to win.
I believe
1) silas inept coaching is visible to the naked eye for all of those who keeps track of this team's young prospects development n rebuilding.
2) stone is most possible a chronicle 'yes man' to serve for whoever willing to pay his bill as a gm.
3) penny pinchy tilman behind the curtain is THE one who 'smash smash n smash' cutting costs n doesn't give a shiiit about how long the rebuilding will take, as long as could make good use of rockets as his business credentials.
Jalen Green is not good at making his own shot. EG and KPJ are your go to guys. In my opinion Jabari is the coming face of the franchise. Green is not putting in the work to be the leader. KPJ is though, but he lacks maturity and discipline. With this mess I don't see how the Rockets could possibly attract a good free agent. With Stone at GM I don't see how we could even attract a good coach. Stone wants to appoint all the assistants. Considering we are tanking we don't really know if Silas is doing his best. Some people say he ism but nobody could be that stupid. I'm think at the trade deadline might be a good time to trade for some vets to teach the young guys and get rid of the players who will just have to catch on to another team to continue their careers. This whole process sickens me. Why did this have to happen to my team?
