Proud to be an "I told you so" a**hole about the Rudy trade. Tim Connelly may have ruined his own career with that dud, and certainly tarnished his rep as a savant GM (while he was in Denver).

I enjoyed this segment but tbh mid season isn’t the best time to reflect on preseason picks. The final standings will look much different from the current standings. Some of their picks that they’re declaring as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ may be the opposite after the 2nd half. Making any real judgements on predictions right now is purely arbitrary. I appreciate the reflections nonetheless though.

Damn JJ, As a Warrior's fan, I'm disappointed and sad you didn't mention the Kings. It'd be one thing if you predicted them to make the playoffs, but there was no mention of them in predictions and now they're half a game out of the 4 seed and no recognition. C'mon y'all I expect better!

Keep going back a little further JJ…what did you say about the Pacers/Kings trade? Historically bad? You love Halliburton…but if you’re going to admit you “f*cked that pick up” (you were referencing Denver)—-go all the way and admit how wrong you were about that trade.
I do think Buddy Hield is slept on. When you look at the trade packages discussed for him, people are always debating whether he's even worth a 1st round pick. The logic is that he "doesn't do anything but shoot." That may be true, but find me another 43% 3pt shooter on that kind of volume. Spoiler: there aren't many. People act like that's not an incredibly useful, or even transformative, player to have in your offense.
