Dude Pelinka is obsessed with PGs. Has repeatedly gutted depth on this team in pursuit of them. It’s weird considering how deep that position is in the NBA and how well we did with just Rondo on a vet min… makes no sense whatsoever to spend those picks on getting guard depth

This is an unpopular opinion, but I think we should go with Lowry. Maybe I’m biased since I’m also a Raptors fan but Fred is inflexible as he needs to be ball dominant and has been playing really bad all season off-ball. Lowry isn’t doing that well either but he brings so much intangibles to the tables and fits our team much better at least. He’ll also definitely have a cheaper asking price than FVV, as Heat don’t really need him with the resurgence of Oladipo. If anything I don’t really fancy either of these players but I’d choose Lowry over FVV at least.

If the Raptors decided to move on from FVV then that means they’re rebuilding around Scottie and Siakam, and that means they want youth and draft picks
